JANUARY 30, 2013 - AUSTRALIA - A resident of a small NSW country town says he regularly sees strange lights in the sky that he believes are UFOs. Damien Nott, 33, moved to Dunedoo, north of Mudgee, last year to refurbish the property that used to belong to his grandparents.
Since then, he has been filming the lights, which have also been seen by members of his family. Mariana Flynn, the president of UFO Research NSW, visited Mr Nott two weeks ago to observe firsthand what he was seeing.
Dunedoo is 100 kilometres from Coonabarabran, scene of this month's bushfires. Because of the lack of light pollution, the region promotes itself as the astronomy capital of Australia.
Although Mr Nott says he has had to endure disbelief and hostility from some in the town, which has a population of about 800, he said others were beginning to accept what he has seen. "I moved up in August and on my second night here I started witnessing strange objects flying through the sky,' he said. 'It has been happening continually since... Five or six family members have now seen the same objects cruising through the sky and doing all sorts of amazing things.
'I have wanted this story to get out for a while but I have been too afraid of the ridicule.' Mr Nott said he had on occasions made as many as 10 or 11 observations in one night. He had converted family members who were initially sceptics, he said. 'They are tough, country people who don't lie, they tell you what they see,' he said. 'Surely other people out there have seen these things and either thought they were crazy or imagining things. People's attitudes towards this subject should be changed. All I want to do is get this subject matter out there so that people know they do exist and don't laugh at the next person who says they have seen something in the sky.'
Visiting Mr Nott on a clear night, Fairfax Media saw two high-altitude spots of light moving in tandem. But Airservices Australia and Sydney Observatory said it was likely they were satellites. Mr Nott said: 'I have seen satellites before, these things we saw changed direction and their speed and colour. That's not the behaviour of a satellite.' Ms Flynn said: 'I think he is genuine; he is not looking for publicity; he's not looking to make money out of this. He feels genuinely that he would like to publish his footage so that others can see what is actually up there and make up their own minds.'" - SMH.

One of the most well known legends of the Chilota mythology of southern Chile describes the Caleuche, a ghost ship that appears every night near the island of Chiloe. According to local legend, the ship is a kind of conscious being that sails the waters around the area, carrying with it the spirits of all the people who have drowned at sea. When spotted, the Caleuche is said to be strikingly beautiful and bright, and is always accompanied by the sounds of party music and people laughing. After appearing for a few moments, the ship is then said to disappear or submerge itself under the water. According to Chilota mythology, the spirits of the drowned are summoned to the ship by the Sirena Chilota, the Pincoya, and the Picoy, three Chilota "water spirits" who resemble mermaids. Once aboard the phantom ship, the drowned are said to be able to resume their life as it was before they died.
THE CARROLL A. DEERING
Perhaps the most famous ghost ship of the Eastern Seaboard is the Carroll A. Deering, a schooner that ran aground near Cape Hatteras, North Carolina in 1921. The ship had just returned from a commercial voyage to deliver coal in South America, and had last been spotted just south of Hatteras by a lightship near Cape Lookout. It ran aground in the notorious Diamond Shoals, an area famous for causing shipwrecks, and sat there for several days before any help was able to reach it. When they did arrive, the Coast Guard found that the ship was completely abandoned. The navigation equipment and logbook were missing, as were the two lifeboats, but otherwise there were no signs of any kind of foul play. A massive investigation by the U.S. government followed, which discovered that several other ships had disappeared under mysterious circumstances around the same time. Several theories were eventually put forth, the most popular being that the ship fell victim to pirates or rumrunners. Others suggested that mutiny might have been the cause, as the Deering's first mate was known to bear some animosity toward its Captain, but no definitive proof has even been discovered. The mystery surrounding the ghost ship has encouraged wild speculation, and many have argued that paranormal activity might have been responsible, citing the ship's passage through the infamous Bermuda triangle as proof that some kind of otherworldly phenomena might be to blame.
THE BAYCHIMO
One of the most amazing cases of a real-life ghost ship concerns the Baychimo, a cargo steamer that was abandoned and left to drift the seas near Alaska for nearly forty years. The ship was owned by the Hudson Bay Company, and was launched in the early 1920s and used to trade pelts and furs with the Inuit in northern Canada. But in 1931, the Baychimo became trapped in pack ice near Alaska, and after many attempts to break it free, its crew were eventually airlifted out of the area to safety. After a heavy blizzard, the ship managed to break free of the ice, but it was badly damaged and was abandoned by the Hudson Bay Company, who assumed it would not last the winter. Amazingly, the Baychimo managed to stay afloat, and for the next 38 years, it remained adrift in the waters off Alaska. The ship became something of a local legend, and was frequently sighted aimlessly floating near the frozen ice packs by Eskimos and other vessels. It was boarded several times, but weather conditions always made salvaging it nearly impossible. The Baychimo was last sighted in 1969, again frozen in the ice off of Alaska, but it has since disappeared. The ship is believed to have sunk in the intervening years, but recently a number of expeditions have been launched in search of now nearly 80-year-old ghost ship.
THE OCTAVIUS
Although it is now considered more legend than anything, the story of the Octavius remains one of the most famous of all ghost ship stories. The tale dates back to 1775, when it is said that a whaling ship called the Herald stumbled across the Octavius floating aimlessly off the coast of Greenland. Crewmembers from the Herald boarded the Octavius, where they discovered the bodies of the crew and passengers all frozen solid by the arctic cold. Most notably, the crew found the ship's captain still sitting at his desk, midway through finishing a log entry from 1762, which meant the Octavius had been adrift for 13 years. According to the legend, it was eventually discovered that the captain had gambled on making a quick return to England from the Orient via the Northwest Passage, but that the ship had become trapped in the ice. If true, this would mean the Octavius had completed its passage to the Atlantic as a ghost ship, its crew and captain long dead from exposure to the elements.
THE JOYITA
The Joyita was a fishing and charter boat that was found abandoned in the South Pacific in 1955. The ship, along with its 25 passengers and crew, were en route to the Tokelau Islands when something happened, and it was not until hours later that the Joyita was reported overdue and a rescue attempt launched. On the 18th Oct 2008 I captured a whole number of objects crossing the sky at around 1pm. It was a partially cloudy day but with good visibility with blustery winds. The objects are seen travelling in a horizontal course parallel to the ground, almost locked in formation. (for higher resolution, double click on video and watch on YT)
On Sept 27th 2009 I captured what seems to be the same type of objects sat stationary above my house, about 25 miles away from where I had filming my Infrared UFO fleet footage. As you can see there's what looks like two objects sat on top of each other. Filmed using a Sony DCR DVD106E with an 850nm pass filter and a 2x tele lens, boosting the optical zoom up to 80x. These objects must have been extremely high in altitude. After a few minutes of filming and realising they were stationary, I decided to go and fetch my tripod. It was July 2010 at aproximately 9pm and i was talking to my aunt on the phone while pacing the driveway of the home i was staying at. I turned towards the home i was staying at and saw a orange orb about 15-20 feet in diameter slowly glide powerline level towards the intersection. At first i didn't mention it to my aunt why i do not know and i continued to pace back and forth taking my eyes off the object but everytime i turned around it got closer and then i mentioned it to my aunt but for years i have spoken about being visited by what i call "OLI" Other Life form Intelligence. The orb itself seemed to be alive, for months before this sighting i saw red and white dots deep in space. The red dots being faster than the white ones but the white ones having the ability to split. Night after night i witnessed these red and white dots out in space i even heard my mother tell me there was a report on the news about red dots over the great lakes somewhere around the same weeks i was seeing what i was seeing. I no longer saw the red dots after the orange orb came. Back to the orange orb, the orb was about 30 feet from the drive way and didn't shine light on other objects although it was very bright. I turned my back many times but it got my attention when it changed course in an 90 degree angle and slowly went over the trees i didn't bother to follow it because odds are it won't be the last time i see a "UFO" and i was right because i've seen them since 2006 and have been visited without my knowning before that. "FULL DESCRIPTION OF EVENT/SIGHTING": I was standing in my backyard on the south end of Edmonton, Alberta (near Century Park) and saw what appeared to be an erratically moving star in the sky.
After watching it for several minutes, I could occasionally discern that it was 2 lights and not one, or at least that is how it appeared for the first hour or so.
Around 2:20 a.m. I became aware of two other lights moving in tandem with the one I had been watching, and have since begun to assume this is the large triangular ship that I discovered.
There has been hundreds of sightings in the skies of my area (Western Canada that is).
It did not seem to be traveling and appeared to be in a somewhat general area of space for the duration that I was watching it, but subtle movements and occasional activity around the two smaller lights (in a triangle the 2 corners on the same side appeared.

"Case 1": INCREDIBLE MORPHING ALIEN CRAFT PHOTOGRAPHED OVER NEW YORK AUGUST 4, 2013... MONROE COUNTY NEW YORK
I was home and went to close windows for the night and just looked into the night sky and saw a light in the west. Thought it was a plane at first but as I watched the light didn't seem to move. It appeared to be an orange sphere.
I grabbed an old pair of binoculars and didn't get a great deal of detail so I grabbed a camera with 50x zoom and zoomed in on the light. Through the camera lens it was, at first, a perfect sphere but with geometric texture. I took 22 shots but because of the zoom and not having the camera on a tripod, most shots show camera movement.
As I took shots I just kept saying to no one, "What IS this?" While attempting to capture shots the shape changed. Id stop and look out the window to see if the light looked differently and then go back to the camera lens. I kept trying to determine if this was a plane or blimp or what. For the first few minutes it just looked like a sphere. Then it seemed to change shape or size so I just kept taking pictures. At one point I almost laughed at myself figuring
I would hear that it was just some special display. As it seemed to change shape it just suddenly was gone. When I looked at the shots I got I decided that it was not a plane or blimp or any flying object that I could identify. I went back on my patio and noted that it was a clear night with stars visible but the stars visible were much smaller and not orange in color. Note: This is only one of many amazing photos.

While outside at my sister-in-law's home smoking, I noticed the object while looking for an usual commercial airplane altitude. When I turned my head toward the east, I saw this enormous objects. When I first saw it I was astonished because of the size. It was hovering horizontally in the sky.
I told my sister to come check it out and the object was vertical at that point. When I saw it I had no doubt in my mind that it was a UFO. It was hovering, it was as big as a skyscraper, had 3 bright light that allowed me to make out the color,metallic silver. It was approximately between 4 -5 am. As soon as I noticed it was sitting horizontally on the eastern sky of Oklahoma, I called my sister in law cause I wanted her to see it.
I looked and the object was vertical at that point. Before she could get a good look of it, this " mountain" flew up at a speed none of our aircraft could even come close to attempt, due to the monumental size of this object, I still can't believe what I saw last night.
I never ever seen anything that can even come close to it. It was enormous ! It was cigar shaped but rounded on one side, and I don't understand how something so big could disappear in matter of seconds! Note: The above image is a rendering.

Description: My name is T.K. I live in St Francis, WI at the Landing Lake Condos. A plane crashed into Lake Michigan. A single prop plane crashed killing two people. Police were looking around in the Lake. News organizations were there to report the incident.
My girlfriend Pam and I went out to look after hearing about it. It was a little after the crash. I guess the time was about 5 PM. I noticed up in the sky and saw this black "Mickey Mouse eared" floating black object floating in the sky near, but not directly above, the boat activity. It was northeast relative to my position on the lakefront. There was no sound. It floated or hovered. It was very difficult to capture with my girlfriend's Olympus camera.
The focus went in and out. Luckily it was set to take quick shots in rapid succession and I captured these images. Then the object slowly moved up and away. It disappeared into the clouds as it moved east over the Lake.
I hope you find the photos interesting. I used my girlfriend's computer to crop and zoom in on the images. She still has the originals on a memory card for the camera. If you have questions, feel free to email me.
Note: The original photos have been requested. It is difficult to explain this sighting. It looks like some sort of floating debris, but the fact that it ascended out of sight debunks this explanation. Two people were killed when a small plane crashed Saturday in Lake Michigan off Cudahy, the U.S. Coast Guard said. The bodies of two middle-age males were pulled from the plane, which was found beneath 42 feet of water, said Erik Leuenberger, search and rescue mission coordinator for Lake Michigan for the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard identified the pilot as William Gensler of Racine.
Officials said they were not releasing the name of the second victim, pending notification of relatives. Rescue crews from the Coast Guard and Milwaukee Fire Department responded to the crash, which was reported about 2:50 p.m. Sixteen divers searched the lake for more than six hours. Two helicopters and seven boats assisted in the search. Officials said it isn't known whether any others were on the plane and that the search would continue until they confirm that no others were on board. The plane was a four-seat, single-engine 1975 Piper Cherokee, which was reported down about 1.5 miles east of Cudahy. The plane is registered and based out of Batten International Airport in Racine, where it took off at about 2:30 pm Saturday, according to airport general manager Dave Mann. On the evening of july 29th, 2013 at approximately 9:45 p.m. while driving home on a lonely dark country road I saw what appeared to be a set of stadium lights rising above the trees in a wooded area about 1/4th of a mile off the road.
I was briefly perplexed thinking "I didn't know there was a ball field out here." Being that I was on a hill I had a fairly good view. As I proceeded down the hill I decided to pull over to get a better look. I turned my truck off and was struck by the deafening silence that surrounded me.
What had happened to the nightly frog and cricket orchestra that graced our country summers? The two lights suddenly appeared to be so much closer, even though up until this point I had not seen them move.
They slowly advanced towards the road and within what seemed like a second were directly in front of me just a little above the tree line. I said out loud "oh my god, oh my god". It was now evident that the two lights were connected by a long, dark body which donned a row of small airplane-like lights of varying colors (red, blue, green). The shape resembled a barbell with the lights being the weights.It was about the size of a commercial airplane.
To be so humongous it was amazing that I heard NOTHING! And the lights were so bright however my vision was unaffected. I live in the flight path of an airport, so I am pretty familiar with planes coming in and landing and flying over head.
This was in board daylight around noon. It looked like it would have been a airplane doing a wide circle of the airport for a landing run, except I could not see wings and the object make no sound (IE there was no trailing jet roar, typical with most airplanes).
Also the object was in airspace typically not used object was a significant distance off the ground, over 1000 ft, but not high enough to be a normal airliner cruising.
It was also in an air space that normally the planes entering or leaving the local airport do not use for circling. It headed east/north east for a about a minutes or so, then seemed to turn north/north east and disappeared heading that direction. Note: The above image is a rendering.
