UFOs and aliens beings have often been portrayed in mass media, whether it be movies or television shows. Most of these appearances were however heavily edited and calculated by the American government in order to communicate a specific attitude towards this mysterious phenomenon. What is the purpose of these efforts? This article looks at the fascinating history of government involvement in UFO-related movies and television shows.

On 22 January 1958, the popular CBS television show Armstrong Circle Theatre presented an entire programme dedicated to the subject of unidentified flying objects entitled: "UFO: Enigma of the Skies." Among the high-profile experts invited to speak on the show, retired US Navy Major Donald Keyhoe - director of the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP) - was notable for his outspoken views on government secrecy surrounding the UFO phenomenon. Arguing against UFO reality on the programme were astronomer and vehement UFO sceptic Donald Menzel and Air Force representative Col. Spencer Whedon of the Air Technical Intelligence Center (ATIC). Their task should have been an easy one as the show's content had been scripted in advance by CBS in conjunction with the US Air Force, and all guests - especially Keyhoe - had been instructed to read their preapproved material from a teleprompter.
When it came time for Keyhoe to speak, in frustration he veered from his script and stated to the nation: "And now I'm going to reveal something that has never been disclosed before..." The rest of his announcement went unheard by television viewers: unbeknownst to Keyhoe, his microphone had been cut by the station. Keyhoe continued:
"For the last six months, we have been working with a congressional committee investigating official secrecy about UFOs. If all the evidence we have given this committee is made public in open hearings, it will absolutely prove that the UFOs are real machines under intelligent control."
After the show, CBS was inundated with calls and letters from viewers demanding to know why Keyhoe's audio had been cut: "Call it what you like," wrote one viewer, "but it appeared to be a very shocking display of censorship; and certainly offensive to the intelligence of the American public..." 3 Nine days later, CBS admitted it had been subject to official censorship....

At about 10pm that evening,the wife and I had just stepped out front of our house to let the dogs out when we heard the sound of a helicopter approaching from the east.When the sound from the helicopter grew increasingly louder,we quickly realized that it was flying extremely low over our moderately populated neighborhood.We rushed out to the driveway to witness a "blacked-out"(it did have its red and green tail lights on) military style helicopter in close pursuit of what can only be described as a small(maybe half the size of the helicopter),quiet,translucent craft with what appeared to be a dimly lit orange off-center light.We were able to see the edges of this "craft",and can best describe it as maybe teardrop in shape.In about 30 seconds time,we watched these two vehicles move in a straight line trajectory,from east to west, across the night sky and out of our line of sight.My immediate thought was that what we had just witnessed was clearly an extraterrestrial vehicle being chased/followed by a military aircraft.As I'm sure you can imagine, we were both in utter shock and amazement,and we've spent the last 24 hours scouring the news/internet for any info on this "event".So far,we haven't seen anyone else report this "event",but I can't imagine that we were the only one's to have witnessed this happen due to how low and loud this helicopter was.

The photograph was envisioned as part of a message for the Cassini mission to Saturn and its moon Titan, launched in late 1997. It would have been an artifact in the tradition of the Voyager Record and the "Visions of Mars" CD ROM. Unlike the Voyager Record it was not intended to leave the solar system to be found by the crew of an advanced starship. Unlike Visions it was not for humans in the next few centuries. Its fate would have been to remain on the surface of Saturn's moon Titan, waiting for eons of time against the slim chance that life might someday appear on that strange world, or that some other space traveler might visit Titan and find it. UFO SIGHTING IN PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA ON JULY 28TH 2013 - BRIGHT STAR IN UNUSUAL LOCATION
We were sitting on my deck with the family when my youngest daughter said to look at the star. It took my wife and I a moment to find it since it was so low on the horizon from my vantage point. We looked at the star for a moment and I grabbed my binoculars,and observed it. The star appeared "normal" but in a weird location. My oldest daughter said that she was making a wish on her star. I continued to look at the "star" for a few minutes when it appeared to collapse in on itself and dissapear. I then turned to my wife, and said that was weird. She looked up and confirmed the object was gone. MY oldest daughter said that as soon as she made a wish it dissapeared. I then grabbed my binoculars and searched for the object. I could not find the star, but for a brief moment I observed 3 red lights in a verticle row. I put the binocs down, and told my wife what I saw. I tried to find it again, but it was gone. The red lights were not visible to the naked eye. In the previous nights since no star has been visible in that location. This has left me with a very uneasy feeling especially that night. I am familiar with aircraft since we live on the approach /departure route for PIT. I have pilot experience as well. There were no clouds or other weather issues that night. It was a clear evening with plenty of light.

UFO SIGHTING IN LAKE WORTH, FLORIDA ON SEPTEMBER 4TH 2013 - WAS STATIONARY THEN BRIGHT LIGHT FADED AND DISSAPPEARED
I was sitting on my front patio having coffee I looked to the right and up in the sky was a big bright light.I thought wow that's really bright is it a plane watched for it to move but it didn't then I thought its not a star way to big and bright and it just sat still in the sky.Then the light started to fade away the object moved up a bit stopped the lights faded and it was gone.It was so bright I couldn't make out a shape it was almost hard to focus on because it was that bright.

" I know what your thinking, the line "THE UNIVERSE IS MOSTLY EMPTY!" I got from the documentary "WHAT THE BLEEP DO WE KNOW?", however it had a huge impact on me.. Basically what it is saying is all life is made up of atoms and what atoms are made of is empty space and a small amount amount of energy moving in and out.. So what does this mean to us and the occult nature of the world..? "IT MEANS UNDERSTANDING THE ENERGY IS A KEY COMPONENT TO UNDERSTANDING THE OCCULT" THE UNIVERSE IS MOSTLY EMPTY AND SO ARE WE..! The theory, well more so a fact that everything is actually empty, made up of space and energy, confirms the theory of energy being the sole principle that is life.. The "old guard" of UFOlogy is quickly passing away before our very eyes. First there was John Keel, then Richard Hall, Ingo Swann, George Fawcett and most recently a man who remained for many years one of the most controversial and influential figures in all of UFO-dom, a personality who many loved and others equally despised.
When James W. Moseley passed away on November 16, 2012, at a hospital in Key West, Florida, he left behind a great many friends to mourn him. Though his name may be unfamiliar to the younger members of the UFO community today, he was for many years a most provocative voice in the field of UFOlogy, known for being a comic trickster as well as a serious researcher of flying saucer and paranormal phenomena who broke new ground in coverage of the subjects with his publications "Saucer News" and "Saucer Smear."
In memory of his departed friend, Timothy Green Beckley of Global Communications has recently published "The Astounding UFO Secrets of James W. Moseley, A Special Tribute To The Editor Of 'Saucer Smear' And The Court Jester Of UFOlogy." The book includes the full text of "UFO Crash Secrets At Wright-Patterson Air Force Base," a first-person account by Moseley of his investigations into numerous UFO-related incidents that also highlights his feisty attitude toward his fellow researchers and their continual disagreements over what to believe in a field where concrete evidence is almost impossible to find.
But Beckley, who is listed as the editor on the cover of the tribute book, begins things with a series of memories from those who knew and admired Moseley, all of whom have their own unique stories to tell about the jokester and his long history in UFOlogy. Beckley's lifelong relationship with Moseley began in the early to mid-1960s when Beckley was still in his teens and an avid listener to the all night radio talk show hosted by Long John Nebel. Nebel often covered UFOs and other strange subjects, and Moseley was a frequent guest on the program. Moseley used the show to promote his monthly UFO meetings in the rather seamy Times Square area of Manhattan, and Beckley was a regular attendee. Beckley was so young at the time that he needed his brother-in-law to accompany him in the journey from New Jersey to the Port Authority in New York and on to the meetings.
"Little by little," Beckley says, "I got to know Jim very well. He was pretty gracious about sharing his information and data with people who were serious about the subject, and that included me."

Beckley had already started his own publication, called "The Interplanetary News Service Report," which grew to have a circulation of around 1,500. Moseley bought Beckley out and absorbed his readers into Moseley's own "Saucer News," which would reach a circulation of around 12,000 subscribers. Moseley also hired Beckley to serve as managing editor of "Saucer News," and their business-inspired relationship/partnership began in earnest.
In 1967, Moseley and Beckley shared a memorable adventure together. There had been a UFO flap along the East Coast that included frequent sightings of humanoid occupants and other creatures. An assistant editor at "Saucer News," Jack Robinson, spoke with a group of teenagers who had recently had a sighting which involved creatures in New Jersey where he, himself, lived. As he spoke to the teenage boys, Robinson saw a black car parked across the street, the kind of car the infamous Men-In-Black are known to drive around in while attempting to silence UFO witnesses.
Soon after, Robinson began to complain of problems with his phone and said his files were broken into. His wife, Mary, said that whenever she left in the morning to run her daily errands, she would see an individual dressed in black standing in the entranceway to a building a couple of doors down from the couple's apartment and observing everyone who came and went. Mary called Moseley and Beckley several times and was clearly perturbed by the stranger's presence, fearing either a prankster or someone intending Jack and her real harm.
Not knowing whether to believe her or not, Moseley and Beckley decided to see for themselves. They left early one morning and took the Lincoln Tunnel over to Jersey City and the Robinsons' apartment. When they arrived, sure enough, there was a black car parked at the curb, and someone was lurking in the doorway that fit the general description of a Man-In-Black. The pair decided to circle the block and find a parking place, intending to confront whoever this was standing there. After going around the block, they had no luck in finding a place to park, but Moseley handed his young prot'eg'e a camera and Beckley took photos of the car and one of the black-clad stranger in the doorway. Again, they circled the block looking for a parking place, and when they got back, the gentleman and the car were gone.
"I always told Jim," Beckley said, "that I think this is the only case where UFO investigators actually scared off the Men-In-Black instead of the Men-In-Black scaring off the UFO investigators. He got a chuckle from that. Of course, I've told this story over the years and I've published the photographs and been on the television program 'UFO Hunters' to discuss this. Now Jim, being his usual skeptical self, said he was not certain that this was an actual Man-In-Black. He thought perhaps it might be a pall bearer, but there was no funeral home around there. Then he figured it might have been a member of the mob or a gangster or something. Well, that's not even plausible. What would he be doing out there at that time of the morning? So I've always believed there was a good possibility that in fact he was some sort of Man-In-Black, a UFO Silencer, whatever you want to call it."
Beckley says that Moseley was often skeptical about many things in UFOlogy, or "Ufoology," as Moseley quipped. Moseley published a special expose issue of "Saucer News" in which he called the famous contactee George Adamski a fraud, risking the ire of Adamski's many followers.
Moseley was rumored by some to be a member of the Silence Group or even the CIA because he didn't appear to have a regular job or visible means of supporting himself. The thing was, Beckley said, Moseley had inherited quite a bit of money when he turned 21, from stocks his family had owned in the Barber Steamship line. Moseley certainly went through the money over the course of his life, and was never really what one would call wealthy, but the idea that he was getting a regular paycheck from the CIA was clearly preposterous.

Beckley's chapter in "The Astounding UFO Secrets Of James W. Moseley" continues with other anecdotes on Moseley, including a hoax Moseley cooked up with the late UFO researcher Gray Barker that again targeted contactee George Adamski and was intended for the pair's amusement. Meanwhile, there was also an incident involving a UFO witness, a large public party in a New Jersey park, and the late alien abduction researcher Budd Hopkins, who remained furious at Moseley for the rest of his life. But maybe those stories are better saved for readers of the book.
Another old friend of Moseley's who contributes a tribute chapter to the book is Antonio Huneeus, a longtime veteran of UFO and paranormal journalism now associated with the prestigious "Open Minds" magazine. Huneeus opens his chapter with learning the news of his friend's death just after returning from a two-week trip to Chile.
"Fortunately," Huneeus writes, "I spoke on the phone with Jim right before my trip; he was alert and interested in all sorts of UFOlogical gossip, even as he was getting ready to go to the hospital for a complicated cancer surgery."
The memory of that final parting phone call is still a comfort to Huneeus, who also provided some biographical background on Moseley.
"Jim Moseley was born in 1931," Huneeus writes, "the third son of Major General George Van Horn Moseley, who was a prominent U.S. Army officer but also a notorious right wing and anti-Semitic figure during the FDR era. Jim didn't get along with his father and so became a rebel, quitting Princeton University after a couple of years and pursuing a number of independent activities, which included real estate deals, antiquarian pursuits in South America and of course UFOlogy.
"Until the last few years," Huneeus continues, "when his age and health slowed him down, Jim was a permanent fixture at all major UFO conferences. You could always find him at the bar drinking martinis and collecting gossip, which would then appear in his longstanding newsletter, 'Saucer Smear.' This was the only American UFO publication devoted not to UFO cases per se but to the discussion of the personalities of UFOlogists. It was technically 'non-scheduled' and free, although Jim was glad to receive donations, which he called 'love offerings.' In the last few years it became his main intellectual activity since he always had a lot of fun editing it and making fun of people."
According to Huneeus, Moseley was often thought to be a skeptic by other UFOlogists because he didn't buy into some of the more popular beliefs in the field, like the Roswell Incident and the abduction cases researched by Budd Hopkins and some others. But Moseley poked just as much fun at the debunkers - like the late Philip Klass and the magician James the Amazing Randi - and was critical and sarcastic regarding just about everything and everybody in UFOlogy.
In the new book on Moseley, George P. Hansen contributes a chapter comparing the court jester of UFOlogy to the Trickster entities who appear throughout the folklore of nearly every culture ancient and modern and that are often compared to the shifting realities experienced during UFO encounters.
Tim Brigham, a longtime friend of Moseley, writes fondly, "Jim was the first person I met who maintained a non-dogmatic yet genuinely curious view of this strange UFO enigma, and thus I was immediately drawn to him. Perhaps just as amazing to me at the time, Jim was BOLD about it. He said and wrote what he thought, with no fear of giving his opinion on a topic or person if asked, and even if not! Jim didn't know all the answers and he was not afraid to tell you that neither did anyone else. He could laugh with anyone over a drink, whether he thought they were genuine or, as he often did, thought they were full of s
. As many can attest, Jim was also an amazing story teller and he had many stories to tell. He knew all the original guys; he mentioned names like Hynek and Adamski as if they were sitting in the room next door."
Phyllis Galde, the editor of "FATE Magazine," also has pleasant recollections of Moseley. In a chapter called "Jim Moseley, The Lucid Partier," she recalls making a visit to Moseley's apartment in Key West, Florida, sharing a scotch and water with the elder statesman of UFOlogy as he chain-smoked and held court. Galde also met Moseley at the National UFO Conference in Hollywood in 2005, where he was a speaker.
"I had to smile to myself," Galde writes, "because all weekend it looked like he had the same light blue shirt on, same sport jacket, and the back of the shirt was always hanging out over his pants. Even though he was partying, his talk was coherent and lucid. Most impressive, even if you don't agree with his conclusions. He had a fine mind, a great wit, and we will miss him. I am sure he will find out the Truth in the spirit world."
Galde pledged to post some of the articles Moseley wrote for "FATE" and to reprint some of the recent issues of "Saucer Smear" on the magazine's website at www.fatemag.com

It should be pointed out that Moseley had a second career as a "grave robber," or dealer in South American antiquities.
Antonio Huneeus writes in his chapter: "We had a common interest in all things South American as one of Jim's most cherished periods was the few years in the late 1950s when he went back and forth to Peru and to a lesser extent Ecuador and northern Chile, purchasing and digging up pre-Columbian antiquities. Moseley was unabashed about his grave-robbing activities, his adventurous days as a huaquero (from the Quecha word 'huaco,' for pottery found frequently in tombs) as they are called in the Andean countries."
The black market antiquities trade is now strictly enforced in South America, according to Huneeus, but at the time Moseley was able to avoid legal prosecution by bribing the Peruvian ambassador to the United Nations. Beckley recalls that as he understood it, it was illegal to rob the graves in order to obtain the loot, but once it was in hand, it was legal to bring it into the U.S. The grave robbing never made Moseley wealthy, but it did provide some great stories along with some supplemental cash. Huneeus' chapter includes a photo of Moseley leading a donkey through Peru in what has come to be called his "Indiana Jones period."
Additionally, while in Peru, Moseley was the first investigator to gain access to the Nazca Lines, realizing that the mysterious lines could best be seen not from the ground but from an aerial view, thus beating out Van Daniken and others by a decade or more.
When Moseley moved from New Jersey to Key West, sometime in the 1980s, he opened a pre-Columbian art gallery with whatever items remained unsold. The collection was eventually donated to a museum of archeology and natural history in Dante, Florida, near Fort Lauderdale. Moseley's dealing in antiquities provides the subtitle for the book he coauthored with Karl T. Pflock, called "Shockingly Close To The Truth! Confessions Of A Grave-Robbing UFOlogist," which was published in 2002.
All of this serves as prologue to Beckley's reprinting of Moseley's book "UFO Crash Secrets At Wright-Patterson Air Force Base," in which one can read Moseley's first-person account of his many adventures in search of the truth of the UFO phenomenon, whether that truth involved a military cover-up or run-ins with his friend and fellow jokester the late Gray Barker, who is another legendary name of the early years of UFOlogy. The complete package offered by Beckley with "The Astounding UFO Secrets Of James W. Moseley," which combines heartfelt personal tributes and the complete text of one of Moseley's books, is a must-have for your UFO book collection. It is both a sad but smiling farewell to a true legend, the man some have called "the Hunter S. Thompson of UFOlogy," and a vital document of what the study of flying saucers was like in the beginning among its most early practitioners/jokesters, who never hesitated to add a dose of laughter to their sober assessments of the phenomenon.

THE FIRST REPORT IS FROM NEAR THE GREAT LAKES NAVEL TRAINING FACILITY IN ILLINOIS AND IS REPORTED TO HAVE HAPPENED ABOUT A WEEK AGO (1/7-13):
"MY FIRST CHILD WAS BORN EARLIER IN THE DAY AND I NEEDED TO TAKE MY MOTHER IN-LAW HOME, SINCE I WAS STAYING AT THE HOSPITAL OVERNIGHT. I LET HER IN MY HOUSE, GRABBED MY DOG, AND TIED ON HIS LEASH. I TOOK HIM OUT TO THE FRONT YARD AND STARTED LOOKING INTO THE SKY, THANKING THE LORD FOR THE BIRTH OF MY CHILD. FOR SOME REASON MY EYES CAUGHT A GLIMPSE OF WHAT APPEARED TO BE A TRANSPARENT OBJECT IN THE SKY. HOWEVER, WHEN I FOCUSED IN ON THE MOVING OBJECT/S I NOTICES THREE ORANGE LIGHTS OR ORBS IN A TRIANGULAR FORMATION. I WAS UNABLE TO TELL WHETHER THEY WERE SEPARATE OR ONE LARGER OBJECT. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS THE CLOUDS MOVING, BUT WHEN I SAW THE LIGHTS (ORANGE OBJECTS) I REALIZED IT WAS NOT A NORMAL AIRCRAFT NOR WAS IT A HELICOPTER OR METEOR SHOWER. IT WAS TOO SMOOTH AND FLUENT OF A MOTION AND DIRECTION IN FLIGHT FOR THAT. I WAS CONFUSED AND STUNNED AT THE SAME TIME. I WENT TO PULL OUT MY PHONE TO TAKE A PICTURE AND WHEN I HAD IT READY I LOST THE OBJECTS FROM PULLING MY EYES AWAY. AFTER THE INCIDENT I WENT INSIDE AND TOLD MYSELF THAT I WAS NOT CRAZY. I WAITED UNTIL I CALMED DOWN AND DROVE BACK OUT TO THE HOSPITAL."

UFO SIGHTING IN LA PORTE, INDIANA ON JULY 4TH 2013 - 2 ? FLICKERING FLAMES OBSERVED IN SKYMy nephew (John) and I went outside (me first then he joined me) to watch the fire works for the 4th of July celebration. I first observed and then told my nephew about a dark red object moving very slowly several miles west of us. It was not a plane because of its speed and the object seemed to have a flickering effect like a candle would in a gentle breeze. I watched this object for about 2 minutes before it vanished into the clouds or above them. After a few minutes my nephew went back into our apartment because he was getting tired of the mosquitoes. About 2 minutes later I observed another similar object south of me either in the clouds or above the cloud line. The object was in a Northeastern path and I observed this object for about 1 1/2 minutes before it vanished from site because of the clouds at the same time I was trying to capture it on video. This was the last I seen of it. The Object appeared to be my fire emitting friend I have seen many times before. All I could see was the flickering of what appeared to be was the flame. THE ROBERTSON PANEL AND THE CONDON REPORT
An American obsession with the UFO phenomenon was under way. In the hot summer of 1952 a provocative series of radar and visual sightings occurred near National Airport in Washington, D.C. Although these events were attributed to temperature inversions in the air over the city, not everyone was convinced by this explanation. Meanwhile, the number of UFO reports had climbed to a record high. This led the Central Intelligence Agency to prompt the U.S. government to establish an expert panel of scientists to investigate the phenomena.
UFO PROOF as told by Military Pilots
The panel was headed by H.P. Robertson, a physicist at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, Calif., and included other physicists, an astronomer, and a rocket engineer. The Robertson Panel met for three days in 1953 and interviewed military officers and the head of Project Blue Book. They also reviewed films and photographs of UFOs. Their conclusions were that (1) 90 percent of the sightings could be easily attributed to astronomical and meteorologic phenomena (e.g., bright planets and stars, meteors, auroras, ion clouds) or to such earthly objects as aircraft, balloons, birds, and searchlights, (2) there was no obvious security threat, and (3) there was no evidence to support the ETH. Parts of the panel's report were kept classified until 1979, and this long period of secrecy helped fuel suspicions of a government cover-up.
A second committee was set up in 1966 at the request of the Air Force to review the most interesting material gathered by Project Blue Book. Two years later this committee, which made a detailed study of 59 UFO sightings, released its results as Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects-also known as the Condon Report, named for Edward U. Condon, the physicist who headed the investigation. The Condon Report was reviewed by a special committee of the National Academy of Sciences. A total of 37 scientists wrote chapters or parts of chapters for the report, which covered investigations of the 59 UFO sightings in detail.
25,000 Books on UFO AlienLike the Robertson Panel, the committee concluded that there was no evidence of anything other than commonplace phenomena in the reports and that UFOs did not warrant further investigation.
This, together with a decline in sighting activity, led to the dismantling of Project Blue Book in 1969.

Based on the age of the Suns and the planets in our galaxy, it was decided that the human life form was to be created in the Lyran system. The human race lived there for approximately 40 million years, evolving. The orientation of the human race in Lyrae was agricultural in nature. Apparently, we were very plentiful and abundant, and lived in peace.Then, one day, huge craft appeared in the sky.A large ship came out of the huge craft and approached the planet Bila, and reptilians from Alpha Draconis disembarked. The Lyrans wanted to know more about the Draconians before some kind of "assistance" was offered. The Draconians mistook the communication as a refusal, and subsequently destroyed three out of 14 planets in the Lyran system. The Lyrans were basically defenseless. The planets Bila, Teka and Merck were destroyed.Over 50 million Lyran humans were killed. It is at this point in history that the Draconians began to look at humans as a food source. This is how old the struggle is between the reptilian and human races. Now, I must make the point that not all the reptilian or human races are "dark". There is a mix. When we start meeting these races, you are going to have to trust your gut instinct.But, they are coming. Hale Bopp is on its way here. It is not a comet.
THE DRACONIANSAC: The Draconians are the force behind the repression of human populations everywhere in this galaxy instilling fear-based belief systems and restrictive hierarchies.I asked Morenae about them, and he said,
"the Draconian race is probably the most understood race of beings. I have witnessed a deep respect for this race."The Andromedans consider the Draconians the "ultimate warriors," in a negative sense.Moranae continues, "the Draconians are the oldest reptilian race in our universe. So, you can see that the reptilians are forever stuck in survival mode. This means they have no boundaries in what they will do to other beings.Morenae continues, "it is engrained in them never to trust a human. They are taught the Draconian version of the history of the 'Great Galactic War', which teaches that humans are at fault for invading the universe, and that humans selfishly wanted the Draconian society to starve and struggle for the basic materials that would allow them to exist."
AC: Now, there are some real similarities there. The expression 'Draconian thought' is an expression on our world. I would suggest you research that.
THE HIERARCHY IN OUR GALAXY [DSG, CH 1]:There are two schools of thought in our galaxy. There are the regressives, who are races that carry fear and because of that want to control others. The hierarchy of the regressives starts with a group from Alpha Draconis. The Andromedans have no idea where the Alpha Draconians came from, but what they have learned through interaction with other dimensional races is that somebody brought the Draconians to this universe and "dumped" them in the Alpha Draconis system, where they had the highest probability of survival.According to the Andromedans, the Alpha Draconians have had space travel for 4 billion years. They are an incredible race and have achieved great things, but they are bullies. They are jerks, and that's a judgment - I'm taking that judgment myself. That's my judgment based on what I know about them. The Draconians do not like human beings. The Andromedans say that Draconians believe that this universe was here for them - that their history teaches them that they were left here to rule it. But, when they started traveling, they ran across other races. They were able to conquer many of those races through genetic manipulation.Now, our government, the United States government, the New World Order - whatever you want to call it - wants to implant everybody. From the Andromedan perspective that means ownership. Extraterrestrial don't want to bother with that stuff, since that is not permanent. Extraterrestrials value genetics. What they do is they come in, conquer a race and genetically alter it. From that moment on, that race is genetically altered. The genetic changes alter the frequency, sound and thought patterns of the race if they move into a physical form. Does everyone understand this?Q: Could you give us an example of this?AC: The best example I could give you concerns the Greys. Apparently, the Greys were much more human-looking at one time. What happened was that they, as a race, were captured 891,000 years ago while leaving Zeta 1 and Zeta 2 to go off and do their own thing. This is very common, and it is how Earth became colonized. What happened is that they got captured by a group in Orion that was already genetically altered and under control of the Alpha Draconians.According to Morenae, the first thing this Draconian- altered Orion group did was slaughter almost all of the females of the captured race in order to control the birth process. They then genetically altered the remaining females, so that all the children born after that were genetically altered. The males were enslaved, made to work in mines and slaughtered by the Draconian-controlled Orion group, who had absolutely no regard for life. What we know now as the Greys became a natural resource.General Trends of Humanoid Races in the Universe [DSG, Ch 4]:Val: How about humanoid races and societies, in comparison to us? The society on Earth has a manipulative base historically grounded in the Orion system. What about things on the opposite side of the coin? What is the "norm" in space societies, insofar as you are aware of?AC: Well, the "norm" is definitely "light". You know, self-rule and self-responsibility. The thing in that is going on in our particular part of the galaxy, which includes 21 systems, concerns the idea of tyranny. What is interesting about this is that the area in which this tyranny is occurring is a very very old area. It has been colonized for a long time, and it has been under control of some of the oldest races, like the Alpha Draconians. They were the first race to have space travel in our galaxy and were remarkable builders, but their species multiplied so rapidly that they decided to conquer other races to make room for them. Our race, the Earth human race, was literally created by a group that came down from a dimensional realm, and these were the Paa Tal. Anyway, they found out about the Draconian legends which speak of a time where a group of beings came out of "nowhere" and created a race to war against and challenge the Draconian sovereignty.Val: Of the universe?AC: Well, no. I thought I would take some time to explain an issue to my readers. The issue is the death of the Roswell crash as a subject. Many may not be aware of it but Roswell research is dead. I'll explain why.
Roswell research is only as good as it's researchers. If the researchers are discredited then it doesn't matter if there's any truth to the actual subject or not. That's the case with Roswell research.
There are many people investigating Roswell but there have been four big names that the public can identify with Roswell research. Those big four are:
Stanton Friedman (not so much actively investigating)
Kevin Randle (not so much actively investigating)
Donald Schmitt (actively investigating)
Thomas Carey (actively investigating)
The problem is that they are all discredited for various reasons. Stanton Friedman was duped by the MJ12 hoax, which still exists to this day in Ufology with people believing that the MJ12 documents are legit. Tom Carey and Don Schmitt have been discredited for touting an image of what appears to be a mummified child and trying to pass it off as Roswell alien. Kevin Randle is a bit tricky. I asked him in comments whether or not he would distance himself or make a public stance against Tom Carey and Don Schmitt and he never responded. I seriously doubt he would ever do such thing. Recently, he acted to silence any talk of hoaxing or motivations of money regarding this issue in comments on his blog, which, in my opinion, is a clear sign of support for the pair. Kevin has also been criticized in the past regarding his research into Roswell.
What this all boils down to is that Roswell crash research is dead. It has nothing to do with my personal opinions of these men, as they appear to be likable guys. It's just over. There is no credible public face anymore. As far as I can tell, there is no younger person stepping up to the plate and taking over. Such persons would have to start from scratch and that would be extremely difficult since most witnesses are dead. So it's over folks. This is it. It's finished.
There are people who will say that Roswell is like a vampire and that it will rise from the grave in no time flat. I don't think so. We may hear some stories every now and then. Something might pop up from time to time but such would just be death spasms, involuntary movements as the corpse settles.
R.I.P. Roswell. You were a hell of a ride in the late 80s and 90s. Unfortunately every party has to come to an end.

If you really think about it, it's kind of strange NASA's never been back to the moon with a manned mission since the late 1960's. By now many thought with all of our great new technologies we would have had tourist flights to the moon and back. Clearly there was an industry for people who wanted to visit the moon, if not just a flyby trip. Better yet, why not build something on the moon as a stepping stone to other planets? According to a few former NASA employees, there's a good reason why we've never been back to the moon.
According to these excellent videos, the reason why we haven't gone back is because the moon's swarming with scary and aggressive extraterrestrial life forms! It's even alleged in NASA photographs that massive alien bases and structures exist on the moon.

THE EMINENT AND LATE SCIENTIST CARL SAGAN, a typical sceptic, had made the statement, "A natural satellite cannot be a hollow object." But meaning here that if it is hollow, it is not a natural satellite -- and therefore artificial.
Possibly the strongest evidence for it to be a 'hollow object' comes from the fact that when meteors strike the Moon, the latter rings like a bell. More specifically when the Apollo crew in November 20, 1969 released the lunar module, after returning to the orbiter, the module impact with the Moon caused their seismic equipment to register a continuous reverberation like a bell for more than an hour. The same effect occurred with Apollo 13's third stage which caused the Moon to ring for over three hours. So what's going on with the Moon?
Two Soviet scientists, MIKHAIL VASIN and ALEXANDER SHCHERBAKOV, have spent much of their careers examining the facts compiled on lunar phenomena. Their conclusion is that the Moon is artificial, possibly a hollowed-out planet, and that it was steered from some distant region of the galaxy into a circular orbit around our planet (hence the extraordinary mystery of rock and Moon-dust age variations). UFOs imprints on moon from long ago?
Sometimes one can deduce facts from the illogical absence of something, such as why the astronauts haven't gone back to the moon. Everyone knows the moon could have been a lucrative venture for the United States to use for its various experiments and operations. Considering NASA recently announced Mars is the next destination for human travel (See "JOURNEYING TO MARS ON A ONE-WAY TICKET - DISCOVERY NEWS"), you've just got to wonder why the moon's out of the picture.
If one really thinks hard about it, there's just got to be a serious reason why NASA hasn't sent another manned mission to the moon. It's not for lack of technology, practicality or for a lack of anything that could be gained from it. Obviously something very serious has prevented human beings landing on the moon, especially since doing so had great commercial and economical value on earth. All the other countries have also withheld visiting. Some thing's really out there and it doesn't appear they have any sense of humor or we would have been back by now.

I often speak of the importance of transparency in any contact with an extraterrestrial civilization. That concept of transparency refers to how human institutions should share all possible information about extraterrestrials with the public. I'm not speaking of any current situation. I don't believe humans have had contact with extraterrestrials, yet. But there is a flipside to this argument: what expectations do we have for extraterrestrials in regard to transparency? The simple answer is- high expectations.
Transparency is just the latest buzz word for an integral part of human life. Most elements of human society consider honesty and openness to be important and admirable behaviors. They are also behaviors that we often fail to live up to. That's quite the dichotomy and one that visiting aliens might have trouble understanding. Honesty and openness are behaviors that we strive for and yet the gray areas are much more common. It would be tough to explain to extraterrestrials the concept of the white lie. Complete honesty and openness could cause chaos in our daily lives, and yet we hold such behavior in high esteem.
So, if the concept of transparency, tied to the human behaviors of honesty and openness, is so complicated for humans, what hope do we have of communicating this concept to aliens? It's an important consideration. Any direct extraterrestrial contact will likely have an element of fear for humans. The only way to quell that fear is through communication. Extraterrestrials would need to let us know their motives for making contact and make clear their goals for having a relationship with the human race. Honesty is a pretty big part of that communication. How do we trust aliens we know nothing about? One would imagine that their concept of honesty and openness could be quite different from ours- especially when you consider how complicated it is here on Earth.
The situation has been made worse by our colorful imaginations. Books and movies have portrayed so many fearful and disturbing images of alien contact that it would be tough for visiting extraterrestrials to overcome the weight of popular culture. The claims of those humans reporting alien abductions would suddenly need to be reevaluated. Skepticism and caution on our part would require us to take the fears and concerns seriously. We would need honest and upfront communication from aliens. Have they been here before? What previous contact have they had with humans, if any?
Direct First Contact makes one thing easier. If it occurs in the human realm, which I would define as our solar system, it becomes our playing field. Visiting extraterrestrials would need to operate on our terms and work to make us comfortable. If aliens are able to visit our solar system they would be far more technologically advanced. That would put humans and extraterrestrials on unequal footing. The only way to even out the equation is to play by our rules. Our house, our rules.
One would expect visiting extraterrestrials to consider human public relations issues in order to put the best foot forward. Whether or not we believe them is another matter entirely. I suppose that would depend on the quality of their PR plan and the circumstances behind First Contact. A poorly executed First Contact plan could lead to immediate distrust and fear. That wouldn't help anyone.
The next question is whether we humans would be able to uphold honesty and openness in First Contact? If governments, and other institutions, attempt to keep First Contact under wraps, it will send a message to extraterrestrials: we don't really value honesty and openness. We just like to talk about it. Provide us lip service and that will be fine.
Lip service- from aliens or from our government could prove to be disastrous. First Contact would create a huge upheaval in human perspective and have a ripple effect throughout human society. Fear and distrust in humans could hurt the relationship with extraterrestrials and, in turn, hurt human civilization. If we are to truly benefit from extraterrestrial contact, human perceptions of honesty and openness will have to be the goal of humans and aliens alike. Extraterrestrials may not fully understand it and humans may have trouble living up to it, but in the end transparency will be the most important part of the new relationship.

The following UFO story is part one in a series of UFO incidents. It is one of the most famous UFO cover ups ever told.
In early July, 1947 William W. Brazel, a foreman of the Foster Ranch in Lincoln County, near Corona, New Mexico was one of many witnesses to have seen the remnants of the Roswell UFO crash.
A collosal thunderstorm had rocked through the area on the evening of July 2nd or July 4th (there is disagreement on these dates) and lots of lightening was noted. Brazel said that the storm had a different sound than usual and likened it to that of an explosion.
The next morning, Brazel and a neighbour boy, William D. "Dee" Proctor who often accompanied him, went about their day as usual - checking the sheep and riding the fences.
As they rode south of the ranch, they noticed a mass of unusual debris stretching for around a quarter of a mile. Brazel dismounted and began examining the shiny, unfamiliar objects. He collected some and packed them on his horse. Brazel then had to herd the sheep to water, but none of them would go anywhere near the debris and so had to be taken the long way round.
On their arrival back at ranch headquarters, Brazel put his findings in a shed. After his shift, Brazel collected a piece of the debris and took Dee back home. He then showed the metal to Dee's parents, William and Loretta Proctor and tried to convince them to accompany him to the site.
Floyd Proctor said of the metal object. "It wasn't paper because he couldn't cut it with his knife, and the metal was different from anything he had ever seen. He said the designs looked like the kind of stuff you would find on firecracker wrappers...some sort of figures all done up in pastels, but not writing like we would do it."
Loretta Proctor said, "The piece he brought looked like a kind of tan, light-brown plastic...it was very lightweight, like balsa wood. It wasn't a large piece, maybe about four inches long and maybe just larger than a pencil. We cut on it with a knife and would hold a match on it, and it wouldn't burn. We knew it wasn't wood. It was smooth like plastic, it didn't have real sharp corners, kind of like a dowel stick. Kind of dark tan. It didn't have any grain...just smooth. We should have gone [to look at the debris field], but gas and tires were expensive then. We had our own chores, and it would have been twenty miles."
The following evening, Brazel took his findings to Corona where his uncle, Hollis Wilson lived. On his arrival, Brazel was met by his uncle and his uncle's friend who told him of reported UFO sightings the night before. His uncle then advised Brazel to go to the authorities and report the debris site.
The very next day (July 6), Brazel drove to the Chaves County Sheriff's department and reported the incident to Sheriff Georgh Wilcox. After examining the metal, Wilcox called the Roswell Army Air Field and spoke to, Major Jesse A. Marcel. Marcel then informed them he would drive into Roswell and speak to Brazel personally.
On Marcel's arrival at the Sheriff's department, he was was met by Brazel who showed him the debris. Marcel and Brazel then went back to his base and spoke to the base commander, Colonal William H. Blanchard, who told Marcel to go and check out the site.
Marcel was accompanied by Army Intelligence Corps officer, Sheridan Cavitt who both followed Brazel back to the ranch. By the time they reached the ranch headquarters, night was upon them and they decided to wait until daylight before proceeding to the site.
The following morning, all three went to investigate the site. Brazel then went about his duties as Marcel and Cavitt examined the debris. In the meantime Frank Joyce of KGFL had informed his boss, Walt Whitmore Sr about Brazel's report. Whitmore wasted no time in heading out to the ranch where he spoke to Brazel. He then drove Brazel back to his home in Roswell and recorded an interview with him. This interview was never aired.
In the morning Brazel was picked up by the military and taken back to base where he was kept under guard for several days.
On July 8, Brazel gave an interview to the Roswell Daily Record, with military in attendance. His story differed very much from his previous account. This time he stated that the debris was found on June 14 while he was with his son, but they were too busy and ignored it. Then on July 4 he had gone back to the site with his wife and two children, where they had collected some gray rubber strips, tinfoil, heavy paper and sticks. He then said he had discovered weather balloons twice on the ranch, during his time as foreman, but this debris did not resemble anything like he had found before. Brazel said, "I am sure what I found was not any weather observation balloon. But if I find anything else beside a bomb they are going to have a hard time getting me to say anything about it."
Brazel was then escorted out of the Roswell Daily Record by the military who took him back to KGFL. Bystanders said that when Brazel came out of the Daily Record, he seemed subdued and held his head down.
Back at KGFL, Brazel was allowed to enter alone while the military waited outside. Inside, he spoke to Frank Joyce and related the same story he had given at the news office. Some way through, Joyce butted in and asked Brazel why he had changed his story. Joyce said later, that his observation of Brazel was of a nervous disposition and stated that Brazel had answered, "It'll go hard on me."
Brazel was eventually released by the military and from then until his death in 1963, he would not talk about the site and what he had really found, instead he kept to the weather balloon story. He told his children that he was under an oath to keep quiet for the rest of his life.
WHAT DID OTHERS SAY ABOUT THE INCIDENT:
Major Jesse Marcel stated. "When we arrived at the crash site, it was amazing to see the vast amount of area it covered...it scattered over an area of about three quarters of a mile long, I would say, and fairly wide, several hundred feet wide. It was definitely not a weather or tracking device, nor was it any sort of plane or missile. I don't know what it was, but it certainly wasn't anything built by us and it most certainly wasn't any weather balloon. Small beams about three eighths or a half inch square with some sort of hieroglyphics on them that nobody could decipher. These looked something like balsa wood, and were about the same weight, except that they were not wood at all. They were very hard, although flexible, and would not burn at all."
"There was a great deal of an unusual parchment-like substance which was brown in color and extremely strong, and a great number of small pieces of a metal like tinfoil, except that it wasn't tinfoil. I was interested in electronics and kept looking for something that resembled instruments or electronic equipment, but I didn't find anything. Cavitt, I think, found a black, metallic-looking box several inches square. As there was no apparent way to open this, and since it didn't appear to be an instrument package of any sort, we threw it in with the rest of the stuff. It had little numbers with symbols that we had to call hieroglyphics because I could not understand them. They were pink and purple. They looked like they were painted on. I even took my cigarette lighter and tried to burn the material we found, which resembled parchment and balsa, but it would not burn - wouldn't even smoke....the pieces of metal that we brought back were so thin, just like the tinfoil in a pack of cigarettes...you could not tear or cut it either. We even tried making a dent in it with a sixteen-pound sledgehammer, and there was still no dent in it."
Dr. Jesse Marcel Jr. (Marcel's son): "The material was foil-like stuff, very thin, metallic-like but not metal, and very tough. There was also some structural-like material too - beams and so on. Also a quantity of black plastic material which looked organic in nature. Imprinted along the edge of some of the beam remnants were hieroglyphic-type characters."
Apparently, after Marcel had taken a truck load of the debris from the site back to base, Colonal Blanchard gave him orders to load it onto a B-29 and fly to Wright Field, Ohio and to stop off at Carswell AAFB, Fort Worth, Texas on the way.
After Marcel landed at Carswell, the Commander of the 8th Air Force, Brigadier General, Roger Ramey took possession of the aircraft. Marcel was then taken to Ramey's office where the debris had been placed on brown paper. Marcel was then ordered to hold a piece of the debris and was photographed. He was then taken to another room for a while and then asked to return. This time a weather balloon had replaced the debris and weather officer, Irving Newton was standing by its side, who stated that the material was in fact a weather balloon and a Rawin radar target (radar tracking device reflector made of metal foil and balsa sticks). Marcel was photographed with the weather balloon and was then told to go back to Roswel and keep quiet about the debris. However, some years later, when Marcel was interviewed in 1978, he stated that the debris found was nothing like he had ever seen and that it was definitely not a weather balloon.
