Did anyone else see UFO lights on Thursday, Feb 5, 2009?
I was traveling South on Hwy 281 sometime between 7:30 and 8PM, 20 miles North of Stephenville, Texas and first thought I saw a plane about to land on/near the highway REAL close to me. In fact I slowed down because I thought it was truly landing and would pass over me before it would land. There are no airports near there. It had three "yellowish" lights - one near the front and two at the outer wings (so I thought - I couldn't see an airplane body). It was "slanting" and approaching the road in front of me to the right of the highway. Then the "lights" went off, only to reappear - one at a time, closer together and no longer in "formation" - ahead of me over the highway.
At that time I realized they were not "near" me, but rather about two miles down the road - and were very large lights. Each light would rise, then fall on its own, and as it rose, it would "roll off". By that, I mean it was as if you raised a flashlight from horizontal to straight up, but the light completely disappeared. Then two of the lights started to kinda figure-8 in the sky around each other - each time they rose they would "roll-off". Then three of them started intermingling doing the same thing. It was as if when they hit a certain height, they would go off (completely).
The lights were not "shinning" - they gave off no reflective light. Then four of the lights did the same all around each other. I first thought they were fireworks, but quickly realized they were NOT. Then I thought they were small planes doing acrobatics - but at night? In complete darkness? Besides, all planes have green and red lights on their wings - these completely disappeared when the lights "rolled off".
Then I thought they were parachuters, but how could they perform the up/down/left/right movements they were doing? Then... a straight roll of ten to fifteen lights (Idid not count them) - all very close together, too close to be planes or parachuters - "rolled on", just to the right of the figure-8, loop-to-loopy, up and down, left and right movementing four lights - all at the very same time. They stayed on for about 15 seconds, then all lights "rolled off" and everything vanished.
The whole thing lasted about one minute. I searched the sky and could see nothing - no trace, no figures, no planes. I was really excited and I knew the car behind me saw them too, since it was tailgating me prior to the event, then it slowed down and dropped way back and seem to be searching the sky for further events, as was I. The sky was dark at the time, but shortly afterwards it was lit by the moonlight. I figured whatever it was would not return, so I kept going - though I kept looking up and in my rear view mirror. I've seen sky lights do funny things - usually "one" light like a falling star - but NEVER anything like this!
This is something I will never forget!

FW: Based on your report: You were very close to Hwy 4 color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">Wit: That's probably about right. I remember shortly before seeing the UFOs, I had pasted a green highway information sign saying "Stephenville 26 miles". That's why I figured I was approximately 20 miles North of Stephenville.
FW: What exactly attracted your attention to the lights?
Wit: The "first" lights appeared real close and I thought it was an aircraft coming in for a landing, since it appeared as two lights on each end (of an assumed wing) and one more forward in the center. I did NOT see an airplane body - just the lights. I remember, it was dark at the time - the moon was not shining as it was a few minutes after everything happened. I quickly questioned what it was because of my knowledge of aircraft lights. I thought: "Why would an aircraft have yellowish landing lights that did not shine - especially the one in the middle?" All three lights were the same yellow/red color but not illuminating. It had a broad wingspan (again I saw no airplane body) of I would guess 60 feet with the middle light 10 feet in front.
FW: You were heading south towards Stephenville, so the object was heading north... correct?
Wit: The above "first" lights seen were slanting from the West turning North at first and then paralleled the highway on the West side of 281 and seemingly very low. That's why I initially thought it was a plane trying to make an emergency landing.
FW: When you first noticed the lights, using a quarter held at arm's length for a reference, how big were the lights in relationship? What was the biggest they appeared as you neared them using the quarter as a reference?
Wit: The "first" lights were between a quarter and a nickel in that size of reference. A nickel would be a better reference to distant size for the "second" (looping) appearing lights. They seemed to remain the same size throughout the event.
FW: Since you mentioned that the object was to the "right" (west) of the highway, then you thought the object was going to land on Hwy 281, is it safe to assume that the object was traveling (at one point) "directly above" the hwy... that it turned slightly as it neared the highway, please explain.
Wit: The "first" lights seen were slanting from the West turning North at first and then paralleled the highway on the West side of 281. They remained to the West of 281 during this initial sighting.
They were NOT directly abovt 281 at this time. That's why I initially thought it strange to be a plane trying to make an emergency landing over a wooded area.
FW: You mentioned that the "'lights' went off, only to reappear - one at a time, closer together and no longer in 'formation'." Do you feel that the light actually went of, or could it be that the object "turned or rotated," taking them out of your view momentarily, and or changed the appearance of distance, or angle etc?
Wit: Since I was driving South, the "first" lights seemed to pass by me just to the West of 281, then just disappeared. The "second" lights reappeared one to two miles down the road in front of me seconds later.
FW: Do you feel that this was indeed "one" object, or a few?
Wit: I never saw "one" object - I saw only lights. This is true for the "first" and "second" observed lights.
FW: You wrote: "Each light would rise, then fall on its own, and as it rose, it would 'roll off'. By that, I mean it was as if you raised a flashlight from horizontal to straight up, but the light completely disappeared." Could this be described as a "lighthouse effect?" In other words as you note with the flashlight analogy, the light was "pointing at you," then pointed away?
Wit: That's the best way I could describe the on/off effect of the "second" lights. But when the light(s) pointed up, it (they) were COMPLETELY dark/unseeable.
FW: You wrote: "Then two of the lights started to kinda figure-8 in the sky around each other - each time they rose they would 'roll-off'." Obviously these were separate objects?
Wit: Yes, at first I thought them to be acrobatic planes doing loop-d-loops - but again - I saw no planes / solid body anything - just lights.
FW: You wrote: "Then four of the lights did the same all around each other." Does this mean another light appeared, as initially you noted "three" lights?
Wit: The first started doing it's loop-d-loop straight up and down, then the second joined it and the two were at (approx) 30 degrees to each other (from a vertical plane of reference). Then the third appeared and joined in at (approx) 60 degrees to the others (like an old representation of atom electrons circling their nucleus - but only visual "half" from a horizontal reference, since the top portion of their path would "roll off"). Lastly the fourth joined in at the horizontal plane of reference. I know I said "figure-8" but "loop-d-loop" might be a better description. At no time did any light illuminate (i.e. shine on) any other light.
FW: In your addendum, you wrote about some small white lights shooting off"; these were separate some the initial light... yes? Please explain.
Wit: Positively, I searched the sky - which was now moon / star lit and noticed their movement fairly far from the event area. They were headed south, to the right of highway 281 and then curved up into the sky until they were out of view. Again, I never saw these white dot lights near the event.
FW: Do you think the small light that came later were conventional aircraft, perhaps from the military?
Wit: Had to military [sic] (if not UFO's themselves!). Conventional aircraft could not move so fast and climb so high as fast. Again, they were just tiny white dots - I did NOT see aircraft "shapes", nor any blinking red or green lights.
FW: You mentioned that the objects were being viewed at "visor level"; at what angle would you guesstimate that to be?
Wit: Looking straight ahead as the zero reference, they were about 30 to 35 degrees up.
FW: If the object(s) were at any time directly over the hwy, how far from the hwy were the outside (on each edge) objects? And at what distant at that specific time?
Wit: The looping lights "performed" just above the highway a mile or two ahead of me. They were approximately just wider than the highway. The 10 to 15 straight line of lights (again, I did not count the lights) appeared to the West of the highway, at the same height as the looping lights and very close to them.
FW: Did anyone pull over at the time of the sighting?
Wit: Just the previously tailgating truck with a trailer (horse trailer) behind me slowed way down and dropped way back behind me.
FW: What do you think you witnessed?
Wit: The adventurous side of me wants to say UFOs, but heat seeking missile deterrence technology might explain them. BUT - no flares, no fires, no illumination given off from the lights, their strange yellow/red color. And WHY release something like that over a public highway?
FW: What was your knowledge of the Stephenville Lights at the time of your sighting?
Wit: I was aware of sightings, but nothing specific - just "heard" something through the media.
Wit: I never expected to see anything while passing thru [Sic] Stephenville, and I do go to and from Weatherford from San Marcos on highway 281 at least four times a year.
FW: What is your knowledge of the UFO phenomenon?
Wit: Only superficial, I read of a sighting here/there in the country/world.
FW: How did you feel as this event occurred? Please explain.
Wit: Once I realized the things I was observing were not "normal" I was really excited. I remember wanting the lights to reappear so I could see them again and thinking "hey if your from outer space - beam me up Scotty, I would love to have the abduction thing happen to me"!
FW: Is there anything else you can add?
Wit: This was something I can still see clearly in my mind as if it just happened. I felt like I had just won the lottery - to have had the experience!

Thursday was the second day of the International UFO Congress in Fountain Hills, Arizona, the largest UFO conference in the world. My previous Blog posting covers the first day.
The first speaker of the day was Micah Hanks, author and researcher and another very glib speaker, talking about "The UFO Singularity." Futurists like to talk about the coming "singularity," meaning that as our machines' artificial intelligence continues to increase, for precisely one moment of time their intelligence will equal ours - and then forever afterward, theirs will be greater. Intelligent machines will then be the dominant force on this planet, and this may lead to a heaven on earth, or perhaps a hell (as in the movie "The Matrix"). This, of course, has nothing to do with UFOs.

Or does it? Hanks suggests that UFOs may represent a "post-singularity technology," probably originating here on earth, that somehow "transcends temporality." Sounds fancy. Micah says, "I'm known as the guy who says UFOs come from earth." This somehow ties in with Nazi saucers and other World War II developments, by way of a very circuitous path. He acknowledges, however, that UFOs might also represent a post-singularity extraterrestrial technology.
A Post-Singularity technology might know how to "reverse entropy," and then there is no telling what they might be able to do. They may have a technology that "evades temporality altogether," which might be easier than it sounds since time does not exist, it is an illusion.
Dr. Leo Sprinkle
The next speaker was the venerable Dr. Leo Sprinkle, psychologist and pioneering UFO abductionist,. His talk was titled "Memories of an ET Experiencer and Spiritual Pigtailer." Sprinkle has been hypnotically regressing supposed ET experiencers for over forty years, and still looks vigorous and spry at age 82. Only in recent years did Sprinkle reveal that he believes he is an ET experiencer himself.
Sprinkle had his first UFO sighting in 1949. He told about some childhood experiences that he now interprets in terms of ET abduction. He said you can analyze the "meaning" of any UFO sighting you might have by looking into your soul, by evaluating your feelings about it. The UFO is a "sign" for you. He talked a good bit about reincarnation. He believes he had a past life as a woman, who was not allowed to read books. His proof of reincarnation is in his feelings; he talked a lot about feelings. Perhaps, he suggested, these paranormal experiences herald the end of Partiarchy and of the male God.

Jason Martell had been scheduled to speak next about Ancient Astronauts. However, he was injured in some sort of accident (I don't have any more information about that), so the also-venerable Jaime Maussan was pressed into service. Maussan is the best-known UFO personality in Mexico, and is famous for his blockbuster videos and photos that are extremely remarkable, if true.
Maussan said that worldwide UFO sightings have increased dramatically recently because of December 21, 2012, and aliens are now sending us messages by creating meteorological formations in the sky. He showed what were supposedly "vortexes" in meteorological charts, "messages" he says of "the new time."
He showed many blurry photos and videos. There was a huge black sphere sucking energy out of the sun - probably a Mothership, he suggested. NASA's Spirit rover photographed a human figure on Mars, and also a "little house." We saw objects (probably satellites in nlow earth orbit) crossing the face of the moon. Russia, he says, now has the greatest number of UFO sightings of any country, and he showed Russian videos of supposed "motherships." He also played videos having very low-pitch "unexplained" sounds or hums. Maussan's talk was loony, but the audience loved it.
Dolores Cannon
The next speaker was Dolores Cannon, another hypnotherapist, with over 50 years' experience. "She is also a published author of many books composed in part of transcripts from past life regression sessions." She knows a great deal about our spirit guides, "The Watchers." They help us arrange each of our lives. ETs created us by manipulating the genes of the ape. ETs are not trying to take over the earth - they already own it.
You probably know, she suggests, that Star Trek is not fiction - it is real. The ETs try not to interfere in a civilization unless it gets too violent, which is what happened to the Atlanteans. And it is always the men who mess things up by getting too violent. This forces the ETs to step in and wipe them out.
The final session of the day was a panel, "Investigating UFOs," with James Fox, Nick Pope, Marc Dantonio, hosted by Lee Speigel. If you have been reading Speigel's articles in "The Huffington Post", you know that he has been receiving quite a few purported UFO photos and videos, and he has been sending them to Dantonio for analysis. Marc Dantonio is MUFON's chief photo/video analyst, and president of FX Models, a model making and special effects company. His company makes UFOs - for TV and movies. While Dantonio believes that some UFO cases are authentic, he is actually a very skeptical guy. We must remove all of the possible 'knowns,' he said, if it's a close correlation to something we already know, he concludes it is that. And he said something that amazed me: "Lee, you haven't yet given me anything 'unknown.'" He says, "I am harsh on the data," even though witnesses insist "I know what I saw!" But Dantonio tells them that my comments are directed toward the data - the photo or video - not toward what you saw.

Pope said that people give more credence to sightings by pilots, and that is proper, but we should not dismiss sightings by ordinary folk. Fox said he had offered some commercial pilots who had UFO sightings 10,000 to come forward and tell their stories; they declined, saying they would lose their jobs. Speigel related how skeptic James Oberg had said to him that pilots actually make rather poor witnesses, which he felt was wrong; Pope pronounced Oberg to be "dead-pan wrong." I had a chance during the Q&A to point out that Oberg did not originate that idea: it was actually stated by J. Allen Hynek (which seemed to take the entire panel by surprise). On p. 271 of the 1977 book The Hynek UFO Report", the former Blue Book scientific consultant said, "Surprisingly, commercial and military pilots appear to make relatively poor witnesses."
Fox claimed that NASA's photos of Mars are all pretty clear, "except" when the camera points toward the Cydona area (which supposedly contains a Face on Mars). In that case, the photos are all blurred.
In the evening, I attended the U.S. Premiere of a film called "Solar Evolution". It suggested that the December solstice in 2012 (which had not yet happened) would usher in certain great changes, and somehow the sun would play a role in all this evolutionare New Age stuff. Beware of the coming Solar Maximum, it warned - even though the current solar cycle is the feeblest in about a century!

The main problem with an eyewitness account of any event is reliability. Whether someone witnesses a homicide, car wreck, plane crash, or whether someone catches his mate in bed with someone else and they scream, "It isn't what it looks like"." or whether someone claims to see an extraterrestrial spacecraft with a bunch of ET's crawling all over it trying to repair a malfunction, reliability is the issue with personal testimony. It doesn't mean that a personal testimony is a false one. It does not mean that when the milkman takes the witness stand in a court of law and says he saw Mr. Jones throw his wife's mother from the third story bedroom that he is lying. Mr. Jones' mother-in-law could have fallen out the window and Mr. Jones was trying to catch her before falling. Perspective is everything.
Multiple variables can affect the reliability of an eyewitness account. Whether the testifier is man or woman, child or adult, different worldviews through which interpretations are made, emotions, stress, authority figures like police, or even the age of the person telling the story can affect reliability.

According to the study, older eyewitnesses are more likely to be mistaken in recollecting details and are also more likely to be certain about their erroneous recollections." Someone giving testimony can be absolutely sincere and be sincerely wrong in what he says happened. This is just the nature of the beast when it comes to eyewitness testimony.
This does not mean that someone who sincerely reports something as having happened is lying or even necessarily wrong. It does mean that the reliability of the testimony has to be considered in light of a heck of a lot of circumstances that might affect what the person thinks he saw. The variables that surrounded the witnessing of an event have to be considered. This is only fair. You have to consider what the person says he or she saw and then you have to consider what else it could have been. I apply this principle to my own sightings and close encounters of the third kind.
In any group consisting of human beings, there is going to be a kooky-fringe contingency. Whether it's church, the Boy Scouts, The Lion's Club, or the UFO-Alien enthusiasts, you are going to have the nut cases that give the goal and effort of the group a bad reputation. I think that's why I hesitated all these years in writing about this subject. It certainly is a departure from my usual genre, travel writing.
What the UFO-Alien field of study needs is to weed out the kooky reports and stick to the quality events that do get reported. There are some, believe it or not. There are events of not only eyewitness accounts but also accounts that are of such quality that one simply cannot commit intellectual suicide in dismissing them out-of-hand.
A QUALITY CLOSE ENCOUNTER OF THE THIRD KIND
Daytime, mass sightings are not only rare but are also not so easily explained away with the usual intelligence-insulting explanations such as Swamp Gas, Flocks of Geese, or Weather Balloons. In fact, the one I am going to recount is absolutely chilling and is one of the finest quality eyewitness accounts in the literature.
The most chilling event of a sighting of UFO's and its occupants came from Papua New Guinea in the spring of 1959. It is chilling, but nothing catastrophic happened. No one died. No one was abducted. No one had implants installed in his sinuses. No one got impregnated nor had an alien-human hybrid ripped from her womb. And yet, there were spacecrafts in such brilliant clarity with easily seen aliens on board. It is chilling because it involved contact between an Anglican missionary as well as scores of his parishioners and a spaceship full of friendly aliens. And, get this, they exchanged greetings. They waved at one another. I find this remarkable almost beyond the pale.
This daylight, mass sighting took place in the Anglican mission village at Boianai, Papua, New Guinea. The Australian Anglican church sent Father William Booth Gill to minister to the locals. This man was highly regarded by all who knew him. Gill was a devoted pastor and the thought of UFO's and Aliens was the farthest thing from the mind of this man of God. He was a skeptic about the subject. His life was to serve God in Papua New Guinea.
Gill's first sighting was of a fast-moving light that he saw on a local, unpopulated mountain peek. This caught his attention, Gill alleges, since the thing moved in an intelligently guided manner and faster than he thought possible. He thought nothing more about the event until his personal assistant had a sighting of a saucer-shaped flying craft a month or so later. Gill dismissed this as some natural event or phenomenon.
On June 26, 1959 at 6:45 P.M., he had another "light-in-the-sky" sighting. Word of this sighting not only spread rapidly through the village but brought a total of thirty-eight villagers into the mission to witness this event. In sworn statements by each individual, the mass stated that a large disc-shaped craft the length of five full moons lined up end-to-end hovered over the mission. They also could see human-like aliens outside the hovering craft. They were walking about on a kind of flight deck that surrounded the craft. The beings seemed to be working on the outside of this craft. After about 45 minutes, the beings disappeared into the craft and it flew off at 7:30 P.M.
Unable to tear themselves away from watching the sky, they saw smaller crafts flying about. The smaller craft appeared about 8:30 P.M. and afterwards, about twenty minutes later, the larger, original craft reappeared. This sighting would last for a total of four hours. Some sort of moving weather front brought in cloud cover that obscured the ships. Father Gill prepared a report which was signed by twenty-five of the Experiencers.
This once-in-a-lifetime sighting, incredible enough, was to be repeated the next evening.
The following evening at 6:00 P.M., the main spacecraft showed up again with its inhabitants. Support craft seemed to be accompanying it. Two of the creatures once again seemed to be making some sort of adjustments or repairs to the outside and center of the craft while a third was actually watching Father Gill and his parishioners. Having noticed the creature watching the church group and not knowing exactly what to do, Father Gill waved at the being. The being returned the gesture. Gill and his group then waved at all the little human-like beings that apparently were raised properly by their alien parents and waved back. This went on for some time. The humans would wave and the aliens would wave back. Assured that all was well, the humans went inside to have their church service. When they retuned outside at the end of the service, the ships were gone. This event would repeat itself a third time the next day and then no more sightings occurred.
Though the smaller ships, which appeared as lights, could be explained as some naturally occurring event, the main ship could not. It was visible and close enough to make out creatures returning friendly greetings. I think that Swamp Gas, Geese, or Weather Balloons could not exchange a greeting with humans.

The same is examine of Bigfoot, Sasquatch, the Sasquatch.
The Loch Ness appearances clutch likewise been photographed (and witnessed) by scores of the world. But not one photograph or video brings the observations in the field of the the boards of reality.
Nessie is as distracted as perpetually, knock back between her timbered shepherd, Bigfoot, and her receiver rival, UFOs.
Acquaint with are no photographs of the Roswell flyover or crash, justified a few debatable driftwood that continues to oomph consideration among the fringers.
Acquaint with is no video or photograph of the recent O'Hare sighting, and cameras were all over the array the day that UFO supposedly showed up.
No corroborating pictures of Patterson's Bigfoot, prematurely or in the role of.
No unblurry, precisely pictures of Nessie., later or now.
And cameras, as we've noted clutch been set for 200 living, between a gazillion photographs, of no matter which under the sun, close to all of them visible as the thing captured.
But not UFOs, or Nessie, or Bigfoot.
So why do fringers persist?
The article between these creatures and receiver phenomena cannot be explained by procedural curiosity, in the same way as scientists, extraordinarily ivory-tower academics, are not, as a be in first place, hilarious about the special effects named featuring in.

UFO SIGHTING IN WARRIOR, ALABAMA ON JUNE 15TH 1977 - UFO CAST BRILLIANT WHITE BEAM UPON ME AND SEVERAL OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS FOR A DURATION OF MAYBE 5 MINUTES. THEN ZIPPED OFF OUT OF SIGHT.
In the late '70's (the exact date I do not recall), I was walking along a roadway at my grandmother's home with my two brothers and several cousins. It was just past dark and a time when kids could walk about without fear in contrast to modern hysteria. While we were walking, a brilliant white beam was cast upon all of us from above. The beam was so white and so bright that everyone seemed as if they were glowing. The light was so radiant that nothing could be seen beyond the beam. The craft was apparently directly above us. I remember trying to look up, but the light was so bright that I could not see anything but the light. We were all terrified of the craft and no one knew what was going on. No one heard any type of noise that would indicate a helicopter engine and it was much too low to be a blimp. I would estimate the height of the craft to be perhaps twice as high as the tree tops. I remember us running to our grandmother's home and trying to hide on her covered porch. After a short duration, the craft extinguished the beam and headed off in a northeasterly direction. I remember the craft seemed to move at an incredible speed after the beam was disengaged. Even though this craft was incredibly close, I did not get a clear look at it due to the bright beam cast upon us. I did seem to get an indication that the craft was very large when it jetted off in less than a second. But I did not get a clear look at the craft. I have no idea why this craft shinned a light upon us. Were they looking for something or were they just curious? We were all just children at the time, but I have a vivid memory of what it was like to be in that beam. It was scary. We haven't talked about that event much since then, but maybe it's time for others to know what happened to us. For me, it's not a question whether or not to believe if aliens exist. I know they do.

SHORT UFO FACT: [22 Mar 1993, Armadale, Jenny was driving along when she noticed a very bright light, like a white flare, ahead of her. It was falling towards the ground. As she got closer to it she saw it was spherical, with a smaller sphere on either side. As Jenny drew still closer, the lights moved to the right over waste ground. The car radio started to crackle and went dead, and the car's lights dimmed. She pulled the car over to the side of the road for a better look. As she drove off the car's radio returned to normal. Jika kita berbicara mengenai ufo nazi, maka yang dimaksud "ufo" disini adalah pesawat berbentuk piringan. Kita tidak sedang berbicara mengenai pesawat alien.
Catatan awal ufo nazi
Perang dunia II adalah perang senjata rahasia. Pada masa ini, senjata-senjata dashyat berhasil diciptakan. Mulai dari mesin pemecah kode hingga bom atom. Dan sesudah berakhirnya perang itu, beredar rumor bahwa nazi memiliki senjata rahasia berupa pesawat berbentuk piringan dengan kemampuan anti gravitasi dan mampu terbang melebihi kecepatan suara.
Rumor ini sepertinya diteguhkan oleh banyak saksi dan laporan. Belakangan disebut juga bahwa nazi memang memiliki dua jenis pesawat berbentuk piringan yang paling terkenal, yaitu seri Haunebu dan V-7. Namun perlu saya tegaskan sekali lagi bahwa sebagian peneliti masih meragukan bahwa nazi telah berhasil mencapai teknologi ini.
Pada awal tahun 1950, Giuseppe Beluzzo, seorang ilmuwan Italia dan mantan menteri era Mussolini menulis mengenai ufo nazi di sebuah artikel di surat kabar Italia "Il Giornale d'Italia". Ia menulis bahwa sesungguhnya Jerman telah mempelajari desain pesawat berbentuk piringan sejak tahun 1942. Pada bulan yang sama dengan penerbitan artikel itu, seorang insinyur Jerman bernama Rudolf Schriever memberikan pengakuan kepada majalah Der Spiegel bahwa ia telah mendesain pesawat berbentuk lingkaran dengan diameter 15 meter.
Kisah Schriever ini kemudian dituangkan dalam sebuah buku yang ditulis oleh seorang penulis bernama Rudolf Lusar.
Nazi ufo - catatan Rudolf Lusar
Pada tahun 1950an, Rudolf Lusar menulis sebuah buku berjudul "German secret weapons of world war II". Lusar adalah seorang mayor di militer Jerman unit teknis selama perang dunia II. Dalam bukunya tersebut, Lusar menceritakan banyak hal mengenai senjata rahasia nazi. Namun yang paling menarik perhatian adalah bab yang berjudul "Wonder Weapons".
Menurut Lusar, desainer pesawat Jerman bernama Rudolf Schriever bersama rekan-rekannya, Habermohl, Mierth dan Bellanzo, sedang mengerjakan beberapa pesawat berbentuk piringan selama masa perang dunia II. Salah satu fasilitas produksinya adalah pabrik yang terdapat di dekat Breslau, Polandia. Mierth berhasil membuat sebuah prototype pesawat berbentuk piringan dengan diameter 137 meter dengan punuk di atasnya yang berfungsi sebagai kokpit.
Pesawat ini disebut menggunakan "tenaga mesin jet yang disesuaikan". Menurut Lusar lagi, pesawat itu akhirnya hancur ketika pabrik itu diledakkan sendiri oleh pasukan Jerman untuk mencegahnya jatuh ke tangan Sovyet tahun 1945.
Di lokasi pabrik kedua di luar kota Praha, Ceko, Kelompok lain yang dipimpin oleh Schriever dan Habermohl juga mengerjakan pesawat berbentuk piringan yang lain. Diagram yang dibuat oleh Lusar menunjukkan pesawat tersebut memiliki bentuk piringan dengan kokpit berbentuk telur. Pesawat itu juga dilengkapi dengan bilah baling-baling untuk mengangkatnya dari tanah.
Pesawat ini konon diujicobakan pada tahun 1945 dan mampu mencapai ketinggian 12 kilometer hanya dalam tempo 3 menit. Disebut juga bahwa pesawat itu bahkan bisa terbang mencapai kecepatan maksimal hingga 2.000 km/jam, yang artinya lebih cepat dari kecepatan suara.
Klaim ini tentu saja sangat mengejutkan mengingat catatan resmi pesawat pertama yang melampaui kecepatan suara adalah pesawat buatan Amerika yang memecahkan rekor itu tahun 1947.
Nazi ufo - Kesaksian Viktor Schauberger
Tentu saja, banyak peneliti yang meragukan kesaksian Lusar mengingat hampir tidak pernah ada bukti mengenai senjata-senjata rahasia nazi. Kemudian, seorang jurnalis penerbangan bernama Nick Cook menjadi tertarik untuk meneliti masalah ini dan kemudian bepergian untuk mengunjungi lokasi-lokasi yang disebut-sebut oleh Lusar. Cook akhirnya menemukan satu nama yang mungkin berkaitan dengan keberadaan ufo nazi, yaitu Viktor Schauberger.
Cook mengunjungi cucu Schauberger dan menemukan catatan-catatan desain pesawat yang dimiliki olehnya. Menurut Schauberger, ia mampu membuat sebuah mesin yang memiliki kemampuan untuk "terbang mengikuti alam". Salah satu proyek yang sedang dikerjakan oleh Schauberger adalah sebuah pesawat berbentuk piringan yang menggunakan sistem "Mesin pendorong vortex". Teorinya adalah, jika air atau udara berotasi membentuk putaran, yang juga dikenal dengan sebutan "colloidal", maka saat itu akan dihasilkan energi yang cukup untuk mengangkat sebuah objek, termasuk pesawat.
Konon Schauberger berhasil membangun beberapa model pesawat semacam ini. Salah satunya memiliki diameter hingga 15 meter. Bahkan disebut-sebut bahwa satu dari beberapa model pesawat ini benar-benar bisa terbang. Uji cobanya dilakukan pada tanggal 19 Februari 1945 dan berhasil mencapai ketinggian 45.000 kaki hanya dalam tempo 3 menit. Pesawat ini kemudian sering disebut dengan sebutan V-7, yang merupakan kependekan dari Vril-7.
Schauberger juga mengakui bahwa salah satu prototype yang didesainnya dibangun dengan menggunakan tenaga kerja paksa dari kamp konsentrasi di Mauhausen. Dalam catatan Schauberger juga disebut bahwa prototype pesawat itu dihancurkan dalam usaha mencegahnya jatuh ke tangan pasukan sekutu.
Setelah perang dunia ke II berakhir, Schauberger pindah ke Amerika Serikat dan bekerja untuk proyek rahasia pemerintah Amerika Serikat. Ia meninggal tahun 1958.
Cook percaya bahwa kisah yang diceritakan oleh Schauberger tidak dibuat-buat. Ia juga menyimpulkan bahwa teknologi nazi itu kemudian diambil oleh pemerintah Amerika dan Sovyet. Bahkan pemerintah Amerika bertindak lebih jauh dengan menjalankan "Operation Paperclip" dimana ilmuwan-ilmuwan Jerman diselundupkan dengan diam-diam ke Amerika Serikat.
Ilmuwan-ilmuwan ini kemudian bekerja untuk proyek-proyek angkasa Amerika. Salah satunya adalah ilmuwan Jerman yang bernama Wernher Von Braun yang kemudian bekerja untuk NASA. Ia adalah orang yang menciptakan wahana Saturn V yang berhasil mendaratkan Neil Armstrong di bulan.
Nazi ufo - mitos atau fakta
Tentu saja ketika berbicara mengenai pesawat ufo nazi, orang-orang bukannya kagum dengan bentuknya yang bulat. Namun yang dipertanyakan adalah apakah Jerman benar-benar berhasil membuat sebuah pesawat anti gravitasi ? Dan apakah benar Jerman berhasil membuat pesawat yang berhasil mencapai ketinggian 45.000 kaki hanya dalam tempo 3 menit ? Atau apakah Jerman benar-benar berhasil membuat pesawat yang berhasil mencapai kecepatan suara 2 tahun sebelum Amerika ?
Seorang insinyur aeronautika bernama Roy Fedden percaya bahwa Jerman memiliki teknologi itu. Fedden berkata :
"Saya telah melihat desain dan rencana produksi mereka dan menyadari bahwa jika saja mereka bisa memperpanjang perang selama beberapa bulan, maka kita akan melihat konfrontasi udara yang sangat berbeda"Kesaksian ini juga diteguhkan oleh Kapten Edward J Ruppelt dari project blue book :
"Ketika perang dunia II berakhir, Jerman telah memiliki beberapa bentuk pesawat yang radikal dan beberapa pengendali rudal. Mayoritas pesawat itu memang masih dalam masa uji coba, namun pesawat itu adalah satu-satunya pesawat yang dianggap mampu mencapai kemampuan mendekati obyek-obyek yang diamati para pengamat ufo."Mungkin saja Jerman benar-benar berhasil membuat pesawat seperti ini. Pada masa perang dunia II, banyak penampakan objek terbang misterius yang disebut foo fighters yang dilaporkan oleh para pilot pesawat tempur. Pada saat itu banyak yang percaya bahwa foo fighters adalah senjata rahasia Jerman.
Avro Canada - proyek ufo yang gagal
Kecurigaan ini kembali berkembang setelah ada usaha dari Amerika dan Kanada untuk membuat pesawat terbang berbentuk piringan setelah perang dunia II berakhir. Pada tahun 1953, sebuah perusahaan penerbangan bernama Avro Canada mengumumkan bahwa mereka sedang mengembangkan VZ-9-AV Avrocar, sebuah pesawat jet yang dipercaya mampu mencapai kecepatan 2.400 km/jam.
Namun uji coba pesawat ini mengalami kegagalan terus menerus hingga akhirnya proyek ini dihentikan total pada tahun 1961 setelah menghabiskan dana 10 juta dolar.
Insinyur Georg Klein dari Jerman mengklaim bahwa teknologi pesawat ini adalah hasil karya nazi Jerman.
Nazi dan Antartika
Sebenarnya legenda ufo nazi bukanlah sesuatu yang luar biasa. Kisah ini menjadi luar biasa ketika seorang penulis bernama Ernst Zundel menulis buku yang berjudul "UFOs : Nazi Secret Weapons ?". Dalam buku itu ia menulis bahwa setelah berakhirnya perang dunia II, Hitler berhasil melarikan diri keAntartika dan membuat markas ufo disana. Kisah yang ditulis Zundel sangat erat kaitannya dengan teori Hollow Earth yang dipercaya sebagian orang. Lagipula, nazi pernah mengklaim wilayah New Swabia di Antartika sebagai kepunyaan Jerman dan mengirim ekspedisi ke tempat itu pada tahun 1938.
Kisah Zundel kemudian menjadi sangat populer dan hingga saat ini, banyak yang percaya bahwa Hitler secara diam-diam berada di belakangan kemunculan ufo yang marak setelah perang dunia II. Tapi tentu saja kisah ini tidak memiliki fakta dan bukti sama sekali. Apalagi setelah diketahui bahwa Zundel menjual tiket untuk eksplorasi ke Antartika seharga 9.999 untuk mencari pintu masuk Hollow Earth.
Lalu ada lagi klaim dari Vladimir Terziski, seorang insinyur Bulgaria yang mengatakan bahwa Jerman bersama Italia dan Jepang telah membangun markas bersama di Antartika dan terus mengerjakan proyek rahasia mereka dari sana. Ia juga mengatakan bahwa Jerman telah berhasil mendarat di bulan pada tahun 1942 dan membangun markas rahasia disana.
Nazi ufo - antara imajinasi dan kenyataan
Sepertinya manusia punya kebiasaan untuk mengkultuskan para tokoh dunia yang dianggap kharusmatik, dan karena ada penulis-penulis seperti Zundel dan Terziski, maka ingatan kita akan Hitler dipenuhi oleh mitos-mitos yang tidak berdasar.
Namun soal ufo nazi, Saya percaya bahwa nazi bisa saja telah mencapai teknologi seperti itu. Apalagi jika kita membaca sejarah bahwa keberhasilan teknologi angkasa Rusia dan Amerika sangat dibantu oleh para ilmuwan Jerman yang hijrah ke negara itu.
Konon, menurut para motivator, mereka yang memiliki ambisi akan dapat mencapai banyak hal, tidak peduli apakah ambisi tersebut didasari oleh niat baik ataupun niat jahat.

Is the U.S. prepared for public, daylight, high-profile UFO encounters? Do average adults, teens and children have adequate mental and emotional preparedness for visible and indisputable extraterrestrial and/or inter-dimensional visitation?
Are our public health and safety officials ready to handle possible ramifications of such an event?
To explore these important questions, it may be instructive to look at the March 13, 1997, so-called "Phoenix lights" case.
When the Phoenix lights incident took place, it was early evening and already dark. This undoubtedly minimized the number of residents who actually observed what was reported to be a huge V-shaped object with large lights underneath.
If this had occurred during daylight, would there have been more anxiety by the public?
PSYCHOLOGICAL PREPAREDNESS
In many alleged UFO cases, an object quickly zips by at high speed and is gone in the blink of an eye. In other cases, sightings or encounters reportedly occur in isolated regions, where there are few human witnesses.
Since the object over Phoenix in 1997 was said to be very large, slow-moving and maintained a fairly low altitude, it would have been very visible over a length of time by millions of people if seen during daylight.
Feelings of anxiety would be very normal on the part of people who were seeing something they had never seen before. Their first impressions might be that there were two main explanations for such a large unidentified object: a U.S. craft or a ship piloted by non-humans.
Once the thought process considered both options and concluded that the latter explanation was more likely, more natural questions might come to mind.
The relatively few Phoenix residents who experienced these feelings and thoughts in 1997 would be multiplied by millions.
Feelings of fear or panic can be contagious, spreading rapidly to create a human social climate. This would be a concern for public health and safety officials, and for the general public if a significant daylight UFO event were to occur over a major city.
It can be argued that concerns of this kind may be part of the reasons for the alleged secrecy of the U.S. government's handling of the UFO situation.
THEN AND NOW
In the late 1940s, the U.S. had just emerged from the trauma of World War II. As the '50s began, the Cold War with the Soviet Union commenced. Fear of attacks on U.S. soil was part of both WWII and the Cold War.
Sightings of UFOs were becoming more frequent and some Americans were naturally somewhat unsophisticated about what these might mean.
If accounts of federal government inside activities during those decades are correct, there was anxiety in Washington, D.C., about a possible invasion or infiltration of a new kind of adversary - intelligent non-human ones.
The reasonable conclusions that these visitors were probably much more advanced technologically, and possibly in other ways, than humans also would have caused government leaders to worry.
As a result, it would be logical for them react with high levels of security, secrecy and discretion regarding public reaction to such a scenario. It could be that programs to prepare and acclimate the public on these topics was implemented.
Now, in 2009, Americans appear to be more sophisticated about the possibilities or probabilities that UFOs and other anomalous phenomena may be real, and may be something quite complex, sensitive and unusual.
Movies, TV shows, books and other media platforms have tackled the themes of unusual situations such as UFOs and extraterrestrial visitation to our planet. Sometimes the visitors are friendly, sometimes hostile, and sometimes fairly neutral.
Maybe this is also the case in real life.
For most of us, the situation is unclear and we can only evaluate the available information and use our own intelligence, common sense and gut feelings to try to get an understanding of what might be going on.
Considering all the possibilities and outcomes from something like a daylight version of the Phoenix lights incident might help our communities and society prepare for that kind of contingency.
