First of, i was out looking for ufos i have seen before. I got strange objects on video. In our skies around here, its like the past two weeks we see them every night, and day. We have seen what looks like orange-red balls, and they are not weather balloons. One i have on video has a chemtrail coming out. It just moved across the sky in the day time. Last friday night we saw a very big ufo. It had four lights, one left, one spaced above it to the right, one in the middle at the bottom, and one behind it. They all were moving like a blimp, very slowly, across Schillingers by the train track. Then about what looked like 200 feet, they stopped. They went down slowly, then in a fast pace they all moved together and shot up. I dont have this one on video, but last night there were five of us moving west on Schillingers towards Airport blvd. At the first road on the right, just past the train track, we saw two UFOs like i saw last friday. I dont no what they are. They're not planes, they did not move, i stopped my truck, got out and started video recording it. All i could see werethe lights, the one on the left had a red light that slowly moved from it to the left across the sky, until it was gone. We watched both ufos for about five minutes, then it was like they turned out the lights and they where gone. I could tell you more stories but i need to get it all on video. I am going back out tonight, something is going on around here

The Republic of Kazakhstan is in the process of building the world's first alien embassy according to some local media reports. ALIEN ENCOUNTER IN DALLAS, TEXAS ON JULY 6TH 2013 - DIDN'T SEE ONE
It happens when I'm asleep. Don't know when it was but I remember falling asleep and my husband was in the front room watching tv. I remember I was lying on my left side when I fell asleep I had this sharp pain on my back and it felt like someone was drilling on my right lower part something was telling me not to move but talking to me telepathically. It kept saying overand over ddon't move cause the light will go out the pain was so bad I remember moving my shoulder to see what they were doing and as soon as I woke up after that the power went out in my house I culdnt get up cause I couldn't believe it was happening. I waited for about 5 secs I got up to open my down and see if my husband was ok and he asked what just happened. I didn't think anything of it so I went back to bed. I keep have these out of body experiences and seeing this tall hooded figure standing by my bed looking at me. Then I stared to right down all the dreams I would have and some of my dreams would be having intercourse with man I can never see it happened a couple of times. And recently on july 6th when my husband was getting ready for work at 4 in the morning I got ip made him his lunch he left when I went back to bed a had a dream that I was giving birth and there was 3 tall figures standing in front of me the one that was right in front of me delivering my baby was wearing a white coat. I gave birth to the baby and I remember them cutting the umbilical cord and it almost looked like on the avitar movie when he put his hair in the horse and those tentacles was wrapping around his hair. After I woke up my stomach was hurting I went to the bathroom and I was gushing out blood. That morning I went outside and there was a large burnt mark on my grass in my back yard. Since that day I haven't experienced anything else but I do have pains on my right abdomen area. I took a photo like 1 week later but grass was stating to grow back by then. I also have strange markings on my upper thigh.

BIGFOOT SIGHTINGS IN OHIO: THE GRASSMAN
BIGFOOT IN OHIO
If you live in Ohio you probably think Bigfoot is the last guy you're going to see while out for a walk in the woods, but sightings of the elusive beast are on the rise in your state. It turns out Ohio is a favorite haunt of the big hairy guy. In fact, according to the BFRO Geographical Database, Ohio trails only such notorious Bigfoot hotspots as California, Oregon, Washington and Florida in reported sightings.
This might be surprising to some, but as we'll see there are good reasons Bigfoot may be lurking in Ohio. Like any wild animal, Bigfoot requires food, shelter and safety, and he is able to find these things in abundance in the Buckeye State.

This brings up more than a few questions about how the creature remains hidden, evades capture and has dodged the errant bullets of hunters for so long.
It turns out Bigfoot may be smarter, stealthier and more resourceful that we ever imagined, and he may be hiding right in our backyards. Here's a look at how the creature may be getting by in the state of Ohio.
THE GRASSMAN LEGEND
For almost 150 years Ohio residents have witnessed a creature called the Grassman lurking about rural farms and fields. The Grassman is a monster alleged to inhabit Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, and looking back at reports it is almost certainly a Sasquatch. The first sightings occurred in 1869, where witnesses described it as a large, hairy, bipedal creature up to nine feet tall.
The beast allegedly eats wheat and other tall grasses, hence the name, but this is a food source we would expect an omnivore like Bigfoot to take advantage of if given the chance. Some researchers theorize that the Bigfoot population in more agricultural areas of Ohio may have adapted to consuming cereal crops. This too would make sense, as planted crops would provide an easy source of food for an enterprising Sasquatch.
The Grassman has been reported to share many characteristics similar to Bigfoot, but the grass-eating thing is not the only difference. For instance, the Grassman has also been spotted in groups, where most Bigfoot sightings are of a single individual. And, like the Skunk Ape in the south, the Grassman is reported to give off a strong odor.
But there are traditional Bigfoot reports from the state as well. If Bigfoot is as abundant in Ohio as many experts believe we have to assume it's not because of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the state's strong college football tradition. Bigfoot needs food, water and shelter, as well as a certain amount of security from us meddling humans. Even a creature as large as a Sasquatch can find such things in Ohio, and the history of the region makes the state even more Bigfoot friendly.
Some Ohio Bigfoot may have adapted to consuming agricultural grasses, hence the name "Grassman".

WHY THE BUCKEYE STATE?
We may think of Ohio as an Eastern state, but really it was part of the Northwest Territory established in the late 18th century. The population of Ohio in 1800 consisted of only 34,000 European citizens. (New York City alone had over 60,000, and Philadelphia over 40,000.)
Even the Native American populations in Ohio were in decline prior to this. In the 17thh century a combination of disease and war with Iroquois tribes from the east had decimated much of the indigenous population. Eventually they would begin to recover.
So, while the eastern part of the country was flourishing, Ohio was largely populated by Native American tribes who had fled west to avoid the European invasion, and the remnants of battered tribes indigenous to the area.
Ohio was also beyond the Proclamation Line established in 1763 as a promise between the Native Americans and English to limit colonial expansion. This would hold off the population boom for a few more years.
What does all of this have to do with Bigfoot? It adds up to a longer period of time before the European population began to explode, and allowed more time for Bigfoot to adapt to the presence of a large number of people in his territory. Where big animals such as the black bear and eastern cougar were under pressure from the new colonists, Bigfoot would have enjoyed a relative period of peace in the Ohio territory.
In later decades the population of Ohio grew many times over, but even though the current census is over eleven million much of the population is clustered around major cities. There are still a whole lot of woods and farmland in Ohio where a creature like Bigfoot might live.

The Appalachian PlateauIn the map above, notice the forests extending from the Appalachian Mountains into eastern Ohio. The Appalachian Mountains and the associated Appalachian Trail are thought by some researchers to be a kind of Bigfoot superhighway, enabling Sasquatches to migrate up and down the east coast in relative obscurity. On the western edge of the Appalachians there is the Appalachian plateau, which branches into Pennsylvania, Kentucky and West Virginia, and up into the eastern part of Ohio. Bigfoot is sighted in all of these states.
This southeastern area of Ohio features a large amount of wooded area within the Appalachian Plateau geography. Here a great number of Bigfoot sightings have been reported through the years, so much so that the Animal Planet show "Finding Bigfoot" did an investigation in this region.
Salt Fork State Park in particular is known as a great place to spot Bigfoot. It is the largest State Park in Ohio, with over 17,000 acres of land area and abundant rivers, streams and lakes. It seems like the perfect place for a Sasquatch to make his home.
The Appalachian Trail and the Appalachians in general are known for alleged Bigfoot sightings. Might this mountain range be a sort of connection between the eastern states, and a solid explanation for how a population of Sasquatch could thrive in the east?
THE FINDING BIGFOOT CREW INVESTIGATES SALT FORK STATE PARK
FOOD SOURCES
If Bigfoot eats grasses that's fine in the summer, but the climate in Ohio can be tough in the winter. Many skeptics believe there simply isn't enough food throughout much of the year to sustain a population of large creatures such as Sasquatch. But Bigfoot researchers disagree, and they believe the creature is perfectly capable of hunting or fishing for food even through the worst weather.
If Bigfoot hunts there is certainly enough game in Ohio. Since we know little about the beast's physiology it's hard to speculate on its caloric needs, but can assume they are significant. The state has a strong population of white-tail deer along with smaller mammals such as beavers, otters, weasels and groundhogs. All of this might be fair game for a hungry Sasquatch. Bigfoot may even be able to go long periods without food, and taking down a single deer may provide enough sustenance for several days.
There are plenty of water sources nearby. The state is bordered in the south by the Ohio River, and in the north by Lake Erie. Dozens of smaller rivers and tributaries run to each. This makes for great fishing and abundant food for a creature like Sasquatch.
And, there is always the possibility that Bigfoot has found other ways to bolster his food supply, such as caching food in the fall to make it through a rough winter. Of course we have no proof of this, but it is just as sound a theory as anything else.
THE MINERVA MONSTER AND OTHER SIGHTINGS
In 1978 a family living near Minerva, Ohio, witnessed a 7-foot, hairy monster outside their home. Minerva, incidentally, is in eastern Ohio where many Bigfoot encounters have been reported. The family notified the local sheriff, and the legend of the Minerva monster was born.
The police investigated the claims but could find to proof of the creature. But sightings by the family continued, some in broad daylight. Some strange creature was stalking their property, and the police could find no evidence aside from some questionable footprints.
The family was swarmed by media for several weeks, but the sightings died off with the increased exposure. No definitive evidence of the Minerva Monster was ever found.
The Minerva Monster, or monsters, is considered by many researchers the best eyewitness accounts of Bigfoot in Ohio on record. The family and other witnesses were reliable, and the involvement of the police lends to the credibility. The fact that the creatures were observed at length in the daylight makes it hard to argue a case of mistaken identity of a known animal. In the end there are only two possibilities: The witnesses engaged in an elaborate and extremely well-rehearsed hoax, or Bigfoot really was stalking their property.

BIGFOOT IS LOOSE IN THE EAST!
With increasing numbers of reports from Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and even the New England states, it appears there is a significant Bigfoot population in this part of the country. The Appalachians may provide a central area of security from which a relatively large population of Sasquatch could branch out into other adjacent states.
For a state like Ohio in particular, which appears to have the perfect combination of woodlands, water sources and wildlife, it seems almost impossible to imagine Bigfoot wouldn't be present. After all, while Ohio isn't nearly as remote, these are the same qualities of the habitat in the Pacific Northwest.

My wife and I both saw this light in the sky at the same time. We live in a city of 200K people so there is plenty of light pollution. It was a clear night and we saw what appeared to be a satellite. It was not blinking so I ruled out plane. It was moving a little faster than most satellites typically do. It was a very weak light as if a dim star but being able to see it in the middle of town it must have been brighter than it appeared. I was moving across the sky and then began to wobble making several "U" shaped deviations from the flight path and then began going straight again. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me but my wife saw the same thing at the same time I did. It was visible for less than 1 minute and then faded away. As soon as it disappeared an airplane flying at relatively low altitude (landing at nearby airport) went by overhead.

At the 2012 Broad-based UFO School assembly in Phoenix, Arizona, retired Chilean Largely Ricardo Bermudez discussed the have a row of a frightening multiple-witness UFO case. The UFO was spotted on the beginning of November 4, 2010, voguish an air pay off at the Air Block Ivory tower in El Bosque, Santiago. (February 8, 2007) - More than 1,000 enthusiasts and experts gathered in Vi~na del Mar on Tuesday and Wednesday this week for the Tenth International Ufology Conference, organized by the Chile's Ufology Investigation Group (Aion). The highlight of the meeting was a display of photographs taken by members of Chile's Armed Forces.
Ufology is the study of unidentified flying objects, or UFOs. While many ufology experts feel that the field is not taken seriously by scientists, participants at the conference in Vi~na del Mar said the presence of several members of the armed forces added legitimacy to the proceedings. Rodrigo Fuenzalida, director of Aion, said the military presence was important because of the well-known objectivity of their reports and the advanced technology that can be used to back up their observations.
The military photographs and videos were revealed late Tuesday evening. They included a photograph of a spherical metallic object captured flying over Antarctica and a video of Navy ships being pursued by a luminous object in 2000.
Also presented at the conference was a report by Rodrigo Bravo, Captain of the Army's Fifth Division, who talked to a rapt audience about his thesis, entitled "Observations of unidentified aerial phenomena identified by the Civil Air Force." While Bravo's talk was not technically representative of the institution's position on UFOs, he had been authorized to give it by his commander-in-chief.
"Captain Bravo gave his talk from the point of view of the importance of UFOs as a phenomenon," said Fuenzalida. "He talked about encounters such as that of three helicopters near La Uni'on, when a UFO was spotted parked on the ground, and what happened in 2000, when five people were pursued by a luminous object that did not show up on radar screens."
Fuenzalida denied the existence of "secret investigations" being carried out by the Armed Forces about extraterrestrial activity.
Also present at the conference was retired official Armando Vald'es, who is noted for his involvement in one of Chile's first documented UFO abductions, which became known as the Vald'es Case. On April 25, 1977, Vald'es, along with five members of an army patrol, saw two bright objects descending from the sky. Vald'es set out alone to investigate and, according to the men, simply vanished. Fifteen minutes later, they said, he reappeared, tried to speak and passed out. The date on his watch had been advanced five days, and he had about a week's growth of beard.
According to his comrades, when Valdes was beginning to regain consciousness he said: "You do not know who we are, nor where we come from. But I tell you that we will soon return."

Because looking at the lie-down of IO, a quick moon of Jupiter, I came on the cross a mountain area amid a volcano. I found this face on the lie-down of IO. The area you see is called Tupan Patera, an exhausting volcano. The image of the face was busy by the Galileo space craft on October 2001. This area was of high fascinate to NASA and photos were busy in 1979, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2002.
Inexplicably plethora, the volcano was named after the growl god of Tupi-Guarani inhabitant zip in Brazil, by the International From head to foot Bash in 1997. So this is the face of a god?

"Meu namorado e eu est'avamos dirigindo meu Mustang de sua casa para a minha. Ele aponta e diz que olhar para a luz ", disse a principal testemunha. "Uma luz aspirina do tamanho brilhante veio em nossa direc~ao, eu puxei meu carro, e ent~ao a luz parou." O testemunho continuou que pudessem v^e-lo claramente atrav'es do p'ara-brisa. "'E pairou por um tempo, e depois a luz se apagou."
Mas o show n~ao foi por meio de novo. "Um segundo depois que eu tinha notado isso em frente de n'os pairando sobre a linha das 'arvores, ele mergulhou para baixo, em seguida, um tiro para cima e depois veio diretamente para n'os", a testemunha relatou. "Ele foi pequenas, do tamanho de uma aspirina, uma luz muito brilhante branco."
A testemunha parou em uma calcada larga no lado esquerdo da estrada ainda voltado para a direc~ao da luz estava vindo. Ela estava esperando para ter uma vis~ao melhor do estranha vis~ao. "Ele parou como se estivesse realizando apenas para n'os, era como se tiv'essemos um lugar na primeira fila", explicou ela em rever^encia. Standing in my interest looking east. Noticed positive shining orange/red balls of light growing up indoor the sky, one at a time and in clusters. The balls appeared corresponding adjacent to explicit agent headed for others to form triangles. Appeared these were originating from give over or over lake michigan, approx 3 miles fizzle. I ran all the shine to get my mother, she also witnessed the growing shining lights. The lights floated up towards the north/northwest sky and uninteresting. Submit release of lights I saw was approx 30 or choice. Immovable was approx 20-25 mins. A order aircraft perplexed o'hare cup northeast was about a mile south of my put face the shining balls at the time of my witnessing the transparent celebrity. It looked as if they were shining fireside remainder growing off the lake.

I not only have seen these objects I have spoken with them also, they are more stories than I can but on this page if someone would like to archive these events now would be the chance.... there are so many I would have to be jogged back to memory on some of the older events.. but they are the truth they won't answer some questions but they will talk usually about current events my fist event flying object was quarter the size of the moon after three years of research I found it had a speed also of around 100,000 to above the speed of light, I first thought I was looking at a blue moon, till saw the moon in the west, when the object moved north at said speed, I became most interested, it stopped past the earths northern point, paused came back to it's original position, for 30 seconds an left at plus the speed of light in the Andromeda area, it left my field of view. my reaction was three years of research on an off to try figuring what I observed. I later found out that was a small ship do you understand, we are wasting trillions of dollars going into space, if they knew what I do they would understand it's futile and very dangerous, and I'm sure they figured that out, you tell them they better not put that rail- gun in out- space and they don't like that X-47B either, I have seen that craft in this area three times they stopped right over my head one night about tree top level it always had 5 707 jets with it. at that time it was still flat black it is now navy gray....

A maior parte n~ao resiste a boas investigac~oes de uf'ologos s'erios. Raramente, contudo, mesmo diante das evid^encias mais constrangedoras, os respons'aveis pelas farsas admitem a intenc~ao de enganar os outros. A seguir, confira cinco casos em que todas as pistas levam `a deduc~ao 'obvia de que n~ao passaram de embustes.
A NAVE CHOCANTE
Gerente de um restaurante nas proximidades do Observat'orio de Hale, na Calif'ornia, o imigrante polon^es George Adamski costumava encher de perguntas os cientistas que iam almocar l'a. Queria estar a par de todas as novidades sobre a procura de vida extraterrestre. Em 1952, Adamski fez uma expedic~ao ao deserto do Arizona e voltou com uma hist'oria fant'astica: n~ao s'o havia visto discos voadores como entrado em contato com os tripulantes, oriundos de V^enus. Os ETs n~ao se deixaram fotografar, mas ele produziu dezenas de imagens das naves. As fotos correram o mundo e causaram grande sensac~ao.
N~ao demorou muito para que o "disco voador" das fotos fosse reconhecido. Avicultores perceberam que os contornos eram id^enticos aos de uma chocadeira de ovos fabricada por uma conhecida multinacional. Adamski morreu em 1965, aos 75 anos, sem jamais admitir a fraude.
A AUT'OPSIA DE ROSWELL
Em 1995, o produtor ingl^es Ray Santilli anunciou ter encontrado um filme em 16 mil'imetros que mostrava a aut'opsia de um alien'igena. O filme teria sido comprado de um misterioso ex-cinegrafista da Forca A'erea que garantia se tratar de things produzido depois da queda de um 'ovni nas proximidades de Roswell em 1947, o caso mais c'elebre da ufologia mundial (leia na p'agina 30). As imagens da aut'opsia em um ser com grandes olhos negros e nariz pequeno repercutiram no mundo inteiro.
Especialistas em efeitos especiais afirmaram que o suposto alien se parecia muito com bonecos produzidos para o movie theater. Alguns deles at'e constru'iram ETs semelhantes ao das imagens, usando revestimento de l'atex e v'isceras de animais. M'edicos chamaram a atenc~ao para a falta de habilidade do cirurgi~ao: ele mal sabia segurar o bisturi! O mesmo aplicava-se ao cinegrafista: os closes dos estavam fora de foco.
Diante da press~ao para entregar o filme fresh para an'alise, Santilli argumentou que o havia vendido a um colecionador que exigiu anonimato.
ET BAILARINA
O su'ico Eduard Meier-Zafiriou, ou simplesmente Billy Meier, agitou o mundo da ufologia nos anos 70 ao apresentar centenas de fotos e uma dezena de filmes de discos voadores. Ele dizia fazer contato desde os 5 anos com seres "pleidianos", origin'arios da constelac~ao de Pl^eiades. A descric~ao de uma das interlocutoras de Meier era de dar inveja aos homens: Semjase, uma loira alta, bel'issima e que, ainda por cima, sabia falar alem~ao perfeitamente. Meier tinha at'e uma foto de Semjase para comprovar a hist'oria.
Anos depois, quando sua credibilidade j'a estava seriamente abalada (especialistas em an'alise de imagens encontraram fios nos filmes dos supostos discos voadores em v^oo), descobriu-se que a foto de Semjase era, na realidade, de uma bailarina que estivera certa ocasi~ao em um programa de TV. A foto fora tirada diretamente da tela do televisor. Mesmo desacreditado entre os uf'ologos, Billy Meier, aos 68 anos e ostentando longas barbas brancas, continua ganhando a vida como uma esp'ecie de prudent cuja miss~ao 'e divulgar as mensagens dos pleidianos.
NA BARRA DA TIJUCA
"Disco voador na Barra da Tijuca", dizia a manchete do caderno extra da revista O Cruzeiro de maio de 1952. "O estranho aparelho veio do mar, com enorme velocidade, e foi visto durante um minuto. Cor cinza-azulada, absolutamente silencioso, sem deixar rastros de fumaca ou de chamas", descrevia o texto, acompanhado por cinco fotos.
O rep'orter Jo~ao Martins e o fot'ografo Ed Keffel diziam ter flagrado o disco voador por acaso, quando estavam na praia. A suspeita de fraude se deu pelo fato de ningu'em mais ter visto o disco voador. Al'em disso, constatou-se que a direc~ao das sombras produzidas pelo 'ovni era inconsistentes com as sombras dos demais elementos da paisagem. Os rep'orteres morreram sem admitir a fraude.
O VEXAME DA TIAZINHA
Em 2001, Suzana Alves, a Tiazinha, jurou ter feito imagens de um 'ovni em plena S~ao Paulo. T~ao icon souberam do fato, os uf'ologos Claudeir e Paola Covo entraram em contato com a dancarina/atriz/ cantora e comecaram a analisar o caso. Enquanto as investigac~oes transcorriam, Tiazinha aproveitou a repercuss~ao da not'icia para fechar um acordo com o apresentador Gugu Liberato: mostraria as imagens com exclusividade no programa dele, no domingo seguinte, em troca da oportunidade de divulgar seu novo disco.
Nesse meio pace, os uf'ologos chegaram `a conclus~ao de que a misteriosa aparic~ao era, na verdade, a luz de seguranca da cabine do dirig'ivel da Goodyear, contratado por emissoras de TV para fazer imagens a'ereas da cidade. Tanto Suzana Alves quanto a produc~ao de Gugu foram informadas sobre o veredicto antes de o programa ir ao ar, mas decidiram seguir adiante sem citar a conclus~ao dos uf'ologos. As imagens foram tratadas como "inexplic'aveis" e ajudaram o SBT a vencer a batalha dominical pela audi^encia divergent a TV Globo. I was delighted to receive a copy of Jeff Wells new book, Rigorous Intuition: What You Don't Know Can't Hurt Them. I have wanted so long to get my mitts on this book! I wanted to do a short post about it, as I think this book would make an absolutely wonderful addition to the library of anyone who has any interest in deep state operations, conspiracy theories and the wild world of the paranormal. This book would also make a wonderful last minute Christmas present or gift to anyone who has any interests in these fields. The book is available through Amazon and Trine Day publishing at TrineDay.com. The book is available for a very low price-especially considering the fact of how much hard work went into producing the book and the fact that it runs to almost 500 pages. The book is wonderfully indexed, in fact as people who read a lot know an index is a huge part of a book and considering the huge amount and variety of subjects Jeff covers this really adds a lot to the book. The book also has images-I call them pictograms-from Jeff's blog-I have really enjoyed these over the years-I have been hanging out constantly at Rigorous Intuition since I found it in 2004. Really how many people can cover everything from so called 'normal' conspiracies and deep state ops to the darker 'background' that these seem to be taking place against. Anyone who has any interest in the subjects of UFOs, psychic phenomena and what I think is so very very important-and want to cover so much here-the 'fabric' or 'backdrop' that all of these events are taking place in will be greatly impressed. Modern fascism and the NWO corporotocracy and agenda that comes with it is covered in great detail. Also a great deal of attention to the whys, hows and mysteries of September 11, 2001 is given throughout the book. How much more can I say? I am so impressed with the book that were I able, I would offer refunds to any readers I may have that purchased the book and were disappointed-because I think this is extremely unlikely if anyone has any interest in the previous subjects mentioned. It is so nice to have a 'blog' you can read in comfort in bed! You can also be sure that if many of the other bloggers I link to such as too long in this place, The Hidden Agendas, The X Spot, aferrismoon and others had published work that their blogs covered I would also be happily trying to come up with the money to buy their books! Star-like object moving at same speed as jet stream cirrus clouds seen in eastern skies 453-458pm CDT from NE Austin, Texas. Through polarized glasses could easily see object at same magnitude as nighttime viewing of bright star or planet. A second witness also saw the star-like object from the same perspective. Three jet aircraft crossed the viewing plane during those five minutes -- two at high altitude (20,000 ft +) and one at low altitude on descent to Austin Bergstrom Int'l Airport. The star-like object was undeniably higher in altitude than the highest aircraft viewed. Though no clouds happened to move immediately near the UFO during the viewing period, it is believed the object would have been obscured. At one point, probably around 456pm, the object appeared to flash from a point to a vertical spire as if radiating out from a north and south polar orientation. The flash was narrow in width and lasted shorter than a second. The object moved out of view around 458pm, crossing below the treeline.

Once again we find another example of why the UK has become the worlds number one hot-spot for seeing unexplained airborne phenomena.
Robert Teuu took a set of photographs of the Cannock Town Centre to try out his brand-new camera. When he got home and downloaded the pictures to his computer he discovered something odd hovering above the LA Rock Cafe in one of the shots.
At first he thought that his eyes were playing tricks on him. He was certain that the object had to be a plane or a bird. Then he zoomed in on the object, that's when it became clear that what was in the photo was something extraterrestrial.
"It's not an aircraft. It must be some kind of UFO. I know that sounds crazy, but I cannot think of it being anything else really." Teuu told the Sunday Mercury. "I zoomed into the object and was even more puzzled. I just couldn't believe what I was seeing,"
It isn't surprising that someone could accidentally photograph a UFO over the Cannock area. The town has reportedly been the location of several credible sightings over the decades.
Recently declassified government documents describe numerous sightings over the town and surrounding area. Silent, rotating lights around the Pye Green Tower, cigar-shaped objects hovering over Burntwood, and a 10ft hovering light over the Stafford Road have all been investigated by the British Government according to documents.
It has also been revealed that between 1986 and 1992 the British Ministry of Defence was in constant contact with local authorities trying to come up with an explanation for the numerous UFO reports coming from Cannock.
I guess it would be hard to explain away what Robert Teuu photographed by saying they were "Christmas Lights".

NICK REDFERN. THE NASA CONSPIRACIES. NEW PAGE BOOKS, 2010. "-- Reviewed by John Rimmer."
The publisher's blurb that came with Nick Redfern's book begins, "He's at it again! The notorious and enjoyable author Nick Redfern... ". Well, I wouldn't argue with either of those descriptions when reading "The NASA Conspiracies". Mr Redfern appears to be one of those generously open-minded people who attract a great number of eccentric characters. Reading this book is a bit like being stuck in a bar with a group of rather odd people telling amazing tales over a few, or more, drinks. Not a bad thing in itself, and rather how I would like the 'Magonians in the Pub' meetings to be!
Although it's clear that Redfern has his doubts about many, if not all, of the stories he is told, he relates them in the manner of the non-judgemental therapist who may well think that his client is, in technical terms, nutty as a fruit-cake, but nevertheless believes that the stories they relate are of value in understanding their mental state.
One of the most interesting tales recounted here is the story of 'John'. John approached the author after reading his book "Bodysnatchers in the Desert", with its heretical claim that Roswell was not the result of an ET crash, but part of a grotesque US experiment using tragically deformed human beings. John explained that he was someone with a long and distinguished career in the New York Police Department and later in a number of other security-related organisations, which included involvement in a successful operation to trap a Soviet spy. In 1971 he was offered a job with "a certain highly secret arm of the US intelligence community operating out of Nevada..."
Got it in one: Area 52.
He was chosen because, as well as his impeccable career record, he was unmarried, had no children or any living close relatives. His work in Nevada involved 27-day stints at the secret location, and then three or four-day visits to Las Vegas where he could avail himself of the services of high-class hookers, with the full approval of his employers.
When he travelled from Las Vegas to the site it was in a plane with the window-blinds closed. On landing he was obliged to put on a strange pair of goggles which obscured his view in all directions except downwards, and in that state was guided onto a bus, again with blacked-out windows. Still wearing the goggles he was taken to a building which was the entrance to a lift-shaft, where he descended two floors, and passed through a variety of security checks, to his underground workplace.
His job in this underground bunker seems to have been that of an archivist, supervising a collection of documents from NASA and other government agencies covering the era from 1943 to 1968. As he read through these he came across references to a group of 17 very strange people who were apparently found wandering around the Arizona desert at some date in 1943. Although these 'people' seemed to have had many features in common with the classic 'grey alien' there were also significant differences, and there seems to have been no connection with Roswell or any crashed UFO reports. The investigation of these creatures reads like a "Dr Who" script, with descriptions, amongst other weirdness, of shape-shifting clothing that invades its wearers mind!
I was impressed by the fairytale-like character of this story: John seems to fulfil the role of the 'orphan' or 'foundling' with no family, who is taken to the mysterious 'underworld' - the strange glasses and blacked-out vehicles being part of the liminal transition zone - where he is shown treasures and hints of greater mysteries, and rewarded with gold (a "very good indeed" salary) and sexual favours. Curiously for such a high security posting, John's stay in this strange subterranean world was for just a year. But if we were able to check his contract details, I wonder if we might find it to have been for a "year and a day"?
Not all the chapters reach this level of strangeness, and some, especially on the so-called 'Moon Landing Hoax' and claims of sabotage to the space shuttle are straightforward demolitions of the conspiracy theories. We also get such old favourites as the Face on Mars, Kecksburg, NASA's curiosity about UFO reports in South America and Europe (but with no mention of Rendlesham, I notice), and indications that NASA, or at least some of its employees, have at times demonstrated considerable interest in contactees and abductees.
I was particularly intrigued by the chapter 'The Monsters of NASA' which details a number of reports of bizarre Mothman-like creatures seen in and around (in some cases on top of) NASA installations, some of which seem to link to the chupacabra stories in Puerto Rico.
I don't suppose you could take more than 5% of the stories related here as having any basis in objective reality, but they provide a very useful survey of the level and nature of belief - and of distrust and suspicion - in what is sometimes referred to as the 'UFO community'. For that alone, this is a book worth reading.
Now I think I've got to go to the bar and get another round in...

"This is very important because it clearly uncouples fossil fuel co2 from the burning of savanna in the southern hemisphere and makes our whole global CO2 story dicey. Remember we use only Hawaii and now it is clearly driven by rising southern hemisphere CO2. Worse we can no longer apply that number to the Norther Hemisphere at all.
It could well be that we have been wrong all the way along. Our proxy may only be measuring the trend in agricultural waste burning in the tropics. Better yet the only CO2 hot spot is China as fully expected in the northern hemisphere. What appears worse is that northern CO2 is visually at least an order of magnitude less intensified
There are also anomalies. Just why India is not providing a signal needs to be understood. This is all good.

At today's briefing, JPL scientist Christian Frankenberg introduced a map using a new type of data analysis from OCO-2 that can help scientists distinguish the gas's natural sources. "
"Through photosynthesis, plants remove carbon dioxide from the air and use sunlight to synthesize the carbon into food. Plants end up re-emitting about one percent of the sunlight at longer wavelengths. For that reason, the spacecraft was designed so that it can make an extra maneuver. In addition to gathering a straight line of data like a lawnmower swath, the instrument can point at a single target on the ground for a total of seven minutes as it passes overhead. That requires the spacecraft to turn sideways and make a half cartwheel to keep the target in its sights. "
"The targets OCO-2 uses are stations in the Total Carbon Column Observing Network (TCCON), a collaborative effort of multiple international institutions. TCCON has been collecting carbon dioxide data for about five years, and its measurements are fully calibrated and extremely accurate. At the same time that OCO-2 targets a TCCON site, a ground-based instrument at the site makes the same measurement. The extent to which the two measurements agree indicates how well calibrated the OCO-2 sensors are. "
"Additional maps released today showed the results of these targeting maneuvers over two TCCON sites in California and one in Australia. "Early results are very promising," said Paul Wennberg, a professor at Caltech and head of the TCCON network. "Over the next few months, the team will refine the OCO-2 data, and we anticipate that these comparisons will continue to improve.
